V.I.Passholder Nights in MK and EP

I've never done an after hours event...anyone have any idea if Disney transportation still be running even though the park has technically closed 2 hours before. We're doing the MK event and will be at Swan/Dolphin most likely. Not sure if I will be able to convince DH to go, so not sure if I feel comfortable doing an uber/lyft with by myself at midnight and my youngest is 6 and still needs a booster.
Yes, they will be running the buses to/from the events, even though the park will be "closed."
I asked a CM and was assured that no guest will be stranded at the park. I believe she said the transportation will run till two hours after the end of the event.

The FriendShip boats will also run after normal hours for the Epcot events.

Would be interested but Disney doesn't seem to want to hold any of these events in December and that is usually when I go. No AP event nor a DVC Moonlight Magic in December. You already cancelled the Merry Mixer so what gives Disney?

I really wonder how the logistics will work. If Epcot was scheduled to close at 9PM and Illuminations is at 9PM as well, that's a ton of people they will have to funnel out of the park.

I was wondering the same thing. With these events, maybe we will get the lanyards like After Hours?

Not sure if anyone mentioned this but we only have AP vouchers linked to our account and I was able to get all three of us registered for 8/5 using the link in this thread. We will not get our actual passes until our arrival night on 8/4. We are beyond excited to actually have a free event in August.

same for us..i was really surprised it worked for us being we only had vouchers

I am devasated. I logged in the minute I got the email and registered and it only gave me the option to register DD ( NOT DH!!!) who are both on my account and whom I both manage. I got the night I wanted for the 2 of us but it wouldn't let me register DH. I am so upset. We wont be going if he cant also go so I don't know what to do. Not sure why he wasn't included this time (he was for Toy story) and I even JUST asked this question a few pages back. I could cry.
Same thing happened to me. I could register but wouldn't let me add my husband from the drop down menu. Error message said I had too many people in my party but it was just me.

Call 407-560-PASS. They'll straighten it out no problem.

Blah. I’m pretty good at justifying almost any Disney trip - even when not exactly logical - but just can’t manage to make any of those dates make sense in our summer/fall schedule.

Darn!

Hope those that get spots have a good time!

Same here. :( But I'm so glad that so many who missed out on the TSL event are getting to attend this one! :)

non registered guests will be allowed to stay inside the park just not ride anything like they do during the parties at MK, they will funnel them out through out the night but they will not be allowed to ride anything. They will probably have a wristband or lanyard. At Epcot non registered guests will be allowed to get in line for any attraction up to 8:59pm, what I would do is start riding the non popular rides, like SE or Living with the Land, then as night progresses I would move to the popular ones

Disney will not leave you stranded you will be fine

It said to arrive early and check in would begin at 4pm, but we'll be driving up and probably get there around 8pm. Do you think this will cause any issues? We'd be leaving after work so can't really get there any earlier.
