I like the center of the pavilion closer to the front. I try to avoid the tree obstruction a bit further back. (2 little trees that are pretty, however they distract me)
Hey @sharonabe wanted to get my folks a 6:45 show, but only could get them an early and a late. If and when FEA dessert party dates release and fall on this night, I presume that there's no feasible way to get from late show to dessert party, even when IllumiNations is later during the season, correct?Illuminations isn't until 9:30 on CP nights. You'll be fine.
Pros and Cons for all of them.
5:00 show is not quite dark when it starts, but is before it's over, so you miss some of the "candlelight" ambiance. However, you get to see and hear the show without having listened to the previous show while waiting in line. Can't linger in the theater afterwards as they have to get it ready for next show. Plenty of time to eat dinner and find a spot for Illuminations.
6:45 show is completely dark, but you've listened to at least part of the show while waiting in line and you have to get out of the theater so they can get it ready for the last show. Plenty of time to get a quick bite and find a spot for Illuminations.
8:15 show is completely dark, but you've listened to at least part of the show while waiting in line. Once show is over, you have short time to wait for Illuminations which is nice, but you probably won't be on the rail anywhere around the lagoon. That's not a big con as Illuminations is easy to see from just about anywhere, but it is important to some people.

Question for you experts--I know there has been discussion about how early to line up. The dining packages say "guaranteed seating" for the CP--not that I would arrive 10 minutes prior, but if I did, the way it's worded makes it sound that I would have A seat--maybe not a good seat, but a seat??
Thank you. Here's another logistics question. My understanding is that Holiday International storytellers are around, as well as Santa and Mrs Claus in American and the American Adventure also hosting a singing group. Isn't CP located in that same area? Do all of these go on relatively simultaneously from the same area?? Or am I missing something?Sorry, I don't know much about dessert parties as they would be a waste of money for my family, but with only 30 min between the end of CP and beginning of Illuminations, that doesn't give them much time. If I remember correctly and they haven't/don't move it, the location for the dessert party is on the FW side of the lagoon, so they would also have quite a hike to get to it from the theater.
I got my reservation online. Look for a side door!Anyone having any luck on the website? I can't wait on hold right now.
Yeah, I definitely got a Candlelight Processional ADR. I think just some dates sold out quicker then others, hope you got something you like though! Are you positive you got a Candlelight Processional ADR? I have tried multiple ways and the earliest CP ADR is 12:00 pm. Might yours be a regular ADR? Did you reserve under Garden Grill or under the Candlelight Processional tab?
Yes. As long as you get in the dining package line, you will get a seat. I don’t line up that early and attended the last show NPH did last year. The dining package line extended through Morocco but was no problem getting a seat (party of 2) When we got in the theater, we were free to pick a section or row - basically wherever there was space. It’s not like they direct you by row or anything. Once seated, they will make a couple of pleas to “scoot toward the center” a few inches to try to fit more people in. Some do, some ignore it.
We are planning on the dessert party -- for a couple reasons -- frozen FP, the fact that we will be having an early dinner/late lunch. So I am in the same boat and only booked so that we would either hit the 5:00 or the 6:45 show. It looks like last year illuminations was at 9:30, so with the last show you would miss out on most of the dessert party. Right now the available dessert party's start at 8:00 for a 9pm illuminations -- so very possible the dessert party in Nov/Dec would start at 8:30 for a 9:30 illuminations. It is frustrating that they have yet to release any FES dessert party dates. With it not happening every night it is kind of a crap shoot with planning all our days.If and when FEA dessert party dates release and fall on this night, I presume that there's no feasible way to get from late show to dessert party,
The Rose & Crown problem is continuing online and even though I had a 3:25 lunch with a 6:45 show the confirmation changed to the 8:15 show, and this was after 45 minutes of dead clicks. Not to be ungrateful, but I was really hoping to park hop and see HEA that night, so 8:15 was going to cause a problem. I called in and after a 1 hour and 11 minute wait talked to a wonderful CM who got us 3:45 at Rose & Crown and the 6:45 show for that date!! This will be my first Candlelight Processional and my daughter's as well, so excited we got NPH!!!Anybody looking for Rose & Crown for 6:45 show, I was trying to make that one on the phone yesterday and the CM said the system was allowing selection of that showtime but the booking would not go through. Any other showtime would go through, but not that one. This error appears to be continuing today.
I booked NPH on the 6th, 4:40pm at Chefs de France at about quarter till 6 this morning. Have my confirmation email already! However, that was the latest time I could find for "dinner" that night and it's the 8:15pm show. I was hoping for 5:30 dinner, but oh well. I could switch restaurants to something cheaper and a better time, but I don't think I want to do that. (My second choice was Rose & Crown and they didn't have better times, although we could try something new.) How early do people line up for the CP with the package? This is our first time attending.
