***Official Candlelight Processional Dining Package Watch - 2018***

Completely unsurprised that the website isn’t working. Why release stuff early to AP’s if nothing is available and the website crashes? I’m going during TBD lol, why were all of my dates “sold out except for coral reef” yesterday?

Just keep hitting the search button when this happens. I did and after 10 or 12 clicks getting the try again message times finally popped up. Selected the time I wanted and it did not look like anything was happening but after 20/30 seconds the next screen loaded for me to chose my guests names and so forth.[/QUOTE said:
I got it to work, by doing a "right click" on the time and opening it in a new tab. I'm using Chrome. Got a 10:30 Breakfast at Tratorria al Forno

What is the best time for the show?
I have never been but have heard the later one at 8:15 because by then it will be dark out. That was the comment my DH made this morning when i told him i booked a 5pm show and then a 6:45 back up (depending on narrators). But with a 5 yo DD I figured we would be better off hitting an earlier show. I think any show will be amazing so I don't really care

All my breakfast dates must just be booked solid then  I’ve tried since 180 days to get GG and no day has availability during my 9 day trip. I’m glad someone got it though!
I was able to get Akershus a few minutes later. Keep trying as they might still be loading the breakfast ones.

For everybody who is having difficulty getting the reservation....a wise (?) fish once said, "Just keep swimming" After 30 minutes or so of refreshing pages, switching search engines and being on hold (told it was a 90 minute wait), I was finally able to snag close to what I wanted thru an online booking.

I was really hoping for Teppan Edo for dinner but no reservations for times other than 2 pm opened up after checking all morning. Considering San Angel Inn or Biergarten, we have 9 people in our group. Hopefully more times open up.

What is the best time for the show?

I think it is a matter of preference. I like the 8:15 show, but that is because I like a shorter wait until Illuminations. It is also pretty after dark. Some folks prefer an earlier show so they can either use a breakfast package, spend the day in Epcot, see the show, and then have a late dinner or return to the resort. Truly it is preference.

Yes, right clicking will open a new tab and the reservation popped up. I got what I wanted. Thank you for the tip!

Thank you! I was getting so frustrated! I had tried on 3 different browsers and kept getting stuck after selecting the time. No problems getting what I wanted.

OK everyone, I'm having second thoughts about the 6:45 show. Should I cancel and try again?
I love the 6:45pm show. Get in line early and you hear the music from the 5:00 show and then stake out a spot for illuminations in Italy and you hear some of the 8:15 show. My personal favorite show to see.

90 minutes on hold to find that my CM was also unable to book Akershus breakfast on a TBD date.

Ok now I booked the day I actually wanted but the 8:15 show. How hard will it be to get a good Illuminations spot with an 8:15 show? I have to decide which to keep.

Illuminations isn't until 9:30 on CP nights. You'll be fine.

What is the best time for the show?

Pros and Cons for all of them.

5:00 show is not quite dark when it starts, but is before it's over, so you miss some of the "candlelight" ambiance. However, you get to see and hear the show without having listened to the previous show while waiting in line. Can't linger in the theater afterwards as they have to get it ready for next show. Plenty of time to eat dinner and find a spot for Illuminations.

6:45 show is completely dark, but you've listened to at least part of the show while waiting in line and you have to get out of the theater so they can get it ready for the last show. Plenty of time to get a quick bite and find a spot for Illuminations.

8:15 show is completely dark, but you've listened to at least part of the show while waiting in line. Once show is over, you have short time to wait for Illuminations which is nice, but you probably won't be on the rail anywhere around the lagoon. That's not a big con as Illuminations is easy to see from just about anywhere, but it is important to some people.

OK so yesterday I got a GG breakfast res for Christmas day at 9:45 am. I also had made an 8:40 am res at the 180 day mark for breakfast at GG. I hadn't canceled it yet. Today I read something on here about someone not being able to get times until she canceled a res she had previously made so I decided to work some magic. I canceled the 8:40 am res on my phone and on my computer refreshed the CP search page and voila! There was an 8:40 am CP res for the 5:00 pm show. Of course the website had to give me problems and when I clicked on the time it would load anything. I quickly got on the same page on my phone and it worked! My 8:40 am ADR got turned into an 8:40 CP res! Whoop!! Now I'm going to cancel the 9:45 am so hopefully someone can grab it quick! It's for 2 people.

When do you pick the time of the show? I was able to book the package but I saw no mention of the show time. Now I'm paranoid... :rotfl2:

So we booked our CP package yesterday and got a 5pm show which is exactly what we wanted. What time should we be in line to make sure we get a seat? I've read it's guaranteed seating, but with this being our first time wanted to make sure I didn't mess anything up.

Thanks!

Really wanted GG or Akershus at any time but couldn’t get either for any of our TBD dates. Got Tutto Italia instead.

I would be paranoid too. You should have seen a show time somewhere, so it's possible you do not have a CP package. Go check your reservations.

I'm not sure they ever use the word "guaranteed." If you wait until 5 min before the show, you're not going to get a seat.

Depending on who it is and how picky you are about your seats determines how early to line up, but you need to be in the CP line no later than 30 min before because they will be letting package people into the theater around that time. At 15-20 min before, they open up the standby line.

You don't pick the time of the show. The system does if you're booking online. If it doesn't give you the show you want you need to try again until it does. If your reservation doesn't say candlelight processional and it doesn't have a show time, the you don't have a CP package reservation.

Anybody looking for Rose & Crown for 6:45 show, I was trying to make that one on the phone yesterday and the CM said the system was allowing selection of that showtime but the booking would not go through. Any other showtime would go through, but not that one. This error appears to be continuing today.

You need to get there more than 15 minutes before the show. Around that time they open up the remaining space in the seating area and let anybody sit there. By that time, groups may have to split up. So, no, seating is not completely guaranteed. If you get there in time, it is, but it doesn't mean you can walk in at the last minute and space for your entire party will be waiting for you. Get the seats, and then let some of your group wander and come back if they don't want to wait.
