I haven't seen this asked before, so I was curious.
I know people have their favorite Disney Resorts to stay at, but what resort have you tried that you were not a big fan of and would not return. No real reason as to why I'm wondering... I guess I'm just curious.
For us, we've always stayed at AKL... We've been tempted to try a different resort, but we always chicken out on doing so. We all love AKL so much, that I'd hate to be disappointed by staying somewhere else and not liking it.
Does that make sense?

I'm probably in the minority, but for me it's the Contemporary. The monorail running through the building is cool and it's closest to MK, but it just didn't thrill me. Beach Club is my absolute favorite.
you do know that any resort could have a service dog in any roomI won't stay at any of the resorts that now allow Dogs.
Pop Century. My first and last value resort experience. I'm just not a fan of motels.I haven't seen this asked before, so I was curious.

That's not the same thing. Service dogs are well-trained.you do know that any resort could have a service dog in any room

Poly for us.
Got upgraded to CL, but the noise level was insane at that price level. We could hear everything that our neighbors were saying or doing. Same with the noise from the hallway in the morning. Also, we didn't care for the dining options, and the bar was packed to the gills every night. Glad we crossed it off the bucket list, but we won't be back.
Along these lines, I wouldn’t stay at the Poly again. The main building was way too crowded with mobs of people at all hours, it felt stressful walking thru coming and going from the monorail for the parks and dinner.
Further, I don’t think the resort is properly staffed to handle the crowds -common areas of our building were dirty and siginifanct signs of deferred maintenance.
We ate at the GF three times during our trip and my husband said if we stay in property next trip, it has to be at the GF.
Polynesian.
I had such nostalgia for it and was so excited to stay there last year for the first time since the 80's...we liked it, but if I'm paying that much money for a deluxe, we think Yacht/Beach is much more worth the price due to location, upkeep, pool, decor, ambiance, all of it.
Not totally the same, because the resorts that allow pet dogs have a lot more dogs than the resorts that allow only service dogs.but if you have allergies it is the same
