First of all, if you are considering a bachelor/ette trip to either Disney or Universal Parks I highly recommend it! We went to the Orlando locations and had a wonderful time. My MOH is creative and sweet and made all of our tank tops, water bottles, and ears.
Our first night we went to dinner at Toothsome Chocolate Emporium at Universal City Walk. The food was great, the service was slow (they do not take reservations at this time and we had a group of 10!), the environment and the wait staff were fun though!
Our second day was Magic Kingdom. We arrived a little after 9am. We did not rope drop and did not participate in EMH. (We stayed off site at a wonderful condo with a pool which worked out great for us.) We got through security quickly and went off to grab our buttons. (Happily Ever After and I'm Celebrating!) We utilized the park photographers as much as we could and ended up with over 100 professional photos. I purchased these in the MDE app for $69. This is a one day package which was perfect for us as we only spent one day at Disney! I really loved all of the ride photos and the photos around the park of all of us. We had fast passes for Peter Pan, Space Mountain, and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. We were not able to secure 30 day out FP for 7DMT. I also checked back often and it never opened up - even day of our visit. 9/10 of the girls had FP and 1 bought her ticket about a week out and I could not get same times or passes for her. CMs were accommodating and sweet and let her on with us anyway!! Greatly appreciated that!! We also got lucky with food a few times. Once at Pecos Bill our churros took "too long" so the CMs gave us free tacos and nachos platters! Another time at a Dole Whip station the girls got a free ice cream for me the bride! Super sweet! We ended up back by Gaston's Tavern around the time of the Happily Ever After fireworks show. This ended up working out great because we still had a fantastic view and when we were done taking pictures we ran over to 7DMT. We probably stood in line for less than 20 minutes and got on. It worked out great for us! At the end of the night we went and met 4 princesses - Cinderella, Elena, Tiana, and Rapunzel. Tiana and Rapunzel were the best! Spent extra time with us and chatted our ears off. We loved it! Overall our day at Disney was very magical!
Our third day was at Universal parks. We all purchased park to park tickets. We rode just about everything we wanted at least once (the only ride we never got to that we considered was King Kong) and rode a couple rides 2x-3x. So for those who ask regarding is park to park worth it for one day/is it doable it definitely is! The Hogwarts Express was cool but if that's the only reason you're purchasing park to park tickets I would probably not. Also, I absolutely recommend Butterbeer!!!!! So delicious. I am a huge Harry Potter fan so that is probably also important to note!
On our fourth day we went to brunch at a great spot in Celebration called Imperium food & wine. (dog friendly!) The service and good were great! Then, we spent the day shopping before our late flights. We hit up the Disney Warehouse off Vineland. In my opinion, I did not think it was worth it. Definitely a miss for us on our trip!
That's my trip report! I have never done one of these before so I hope you enjoyed it!
