Prix fixe at BOG

Does this mean that you will only be able to get they're fixed meal? No longer able to order just dessert or miscellaneous things off of the menu? I'm new to this type of dining.

But read an article that they will begin this in July. Had no further explanation other than each diner will get to pick an appetizer a choice of entree and get a dessert platter

More questions than answers until we see a full menu w prices.

If this is the only option, dinner reservations for a cupcake are over

I imagine this is exactly why they've made this change - in response to people gaming the system.

I agree.

I don't think it will be long 'till they change breakfast and lunch to the same thing. You book 5 people, 5 people will have to order. No more having a full table sharing a cupcake so they can get a jump on the crowd on 7DMT. No more having people complaining about Disney expanding hours for MK. Maybe people will realize that opening early is a good thing. One can only hope.

I’m so glad we’re booked for early July! We pay cash, so I might consider the fixed menu if reviews are really good. (No way would I fork out 2 table service credits!) But I’m more inclined to spend more for a true signature experience.

Will this reduce the number of kids attending dinner? $200 for a family of 4 with a 7 and 10 year old for us. If they had more characters I might do it. Otherwise no. I’d probably like the change if I didn’t have kids.

I think it is a great change, but $55 for two TS credits is crazy! If you are on DxDP it is pretty much one of the worst uses of credits out there.

Maybe they will remove many tables in the ball room, so just outside on the outer wall, and the inside is open as a ballroom. Then beast and belle will come in and waltz, then open the room to dancing. That would be amazing and unique, and in theme.

Ughh this isnt good news for a couple reasons..
1 not liking that pre fix menu at all
2 not worth the money or 2TS credits
3 will make the rest of the MK restaurants harder to get into then

Lets hope its just an addition and that the rest of the menu is about the same with the rest also being 1 TS and keeps the breakfast and lunch a QS credit. we really enjoyed breakfast felt it was a great QS option

I never agreed in getting an ADR just for a cupcake or just to get in the parks early and only part of the party orders, just didnt seem right to all the ppl who couldnt get ADR that wanted a full meal.. IMHO dont hang me..lol

Bravo Disney. Well done. Now, just make it fixed price all day, and make the restaurant what it should have been all along.

Step in the right direction. This place has been a cluster since it opened.

I am seeing in other threads folks are not able to book breakfast or lunch the mid/end of August which should be open now for their ADR time frame. Even calling perplexed CMs. Interesting ... first you couldn't book dinners, now the others.

I would be happy if it were just breakfast that got fixed next. Imagine, huge venue, huge overhead
and everyone actually pays for breakfast ... that would be a financial success.

Agree. That's the mealtime that is probably where Disney is losing potential income the most. Reservations, especially PPO ones, just to get into the park early, see the castle while getting a jump on Fantasyland attractions, all for the cost of 2 coffees and a couple pastries for parties of 5. LOL.

I don't mind the change. We never use the dining plan and the OOP cost seems reasonable for a 3 course meal. I like the menu changes as well. The original menu always seemed a bit plain to me. Hopefully requiring everyone to have 3 courses will allow them to slow it down and improve the food quality.
