Wanna buy a Fastpass? It will cost ya $50

I forgot to mention so if you book these three Xtra fast passes in afternoon and your original three (60 days in the morning) you can still book another after those first three are used... these Xtra three will have nothing to do with your normal way of doing fast pass
They do sound like anytime FPs for specific attractions that you select.

Anyone happen to find out if someone staying at Poly Bungalows on DVC points is eligible to buy this add on?

ETA: I’m on hold to find out... in case we book this for our short W&D trip this year... though who knows what happens between now and then!

In reference to the bolded above...I won't speak for anyone else, but for me, it's a question of "can't" not a question of "won't." In no way, shape or form can I afford to stay at Deluxe resorts, plus the extra fee. Bully for those who can, and will now get an advantage over me.

Well, sure you can. You'll just have to postpone your vacation until you've saved up enough to do so. Presumably, if you can afford to take a vacation at all, you could keep saving instead of traveling now, and eventually you'd save up enough to add on the luxury options.

It was mentioned earlier that you cannot repeat a FP for an attraction. Is that limited to your 3 extras, or do they add the 3 "60 day FPs" into that as well? Sounds like the former. In other words, if you get a FP+ for FoP as part of your 90 day FPs, can you still fight to get one as part of your 60 day FPs? And if you book a Tower of Terror FP as one of your 90 day FPs, can you get another as one of your 60 day FPs, and then yet another as a "same day FP" after you use up your first three?

Couple of questions, if anyone happened to get these answers.

1. Will you be choosing the exact time of the FP or will they just be loaded as anytime?
2. Will there be the ability to change days and/or experiences after booking?

Another question if anyone is calling: is this refundable at all? What happens if you change from club level or cancel trip after booking?

You will be booking exact time of attraction and would have to call and modify if need be

DSS continued to use words like limited availability so to know what you would like and when but you can try to modify if need be

Just got off the phone with a CM on this:
  • Poly Bungalow reservations ARE ALL eligible, whether made with cash or DVC points
  • She indicated very clearly that "this is a PILOT PROGRAM", "based upon guest feedback"; as such, she would not share a ton of details with me since I do not have an eligible reservation booked. She said that once/if I did, I could call Member Services at DVC and they could book this if the program is still running at that time. She referred to this as something they are testing and "right now" it is only available to this smaller group.
Sounds like what I and many here expected... this is a test... they may or may not keep it, may or may not expand it (I am adding this -- she didn't explicitly say the latter).

----

ETA the room list again -- the key to me was no distinction made between whether an eligible room is booked using DVC points vs. using cash... so this would apply to the ones in bold below, I believe:

The theme park extra is available for purchase for Guests staying in the following room types:

  • Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge – Cabins
  • Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge – Club Level
  • Disney’s BoardWalk Inn – Club Level
  • Disney’s Contemporary Resort – Club Level
  • Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa – Club Level
  • Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort – Club Level
  • Disney’s Polynesian Village Villas & Bungalows – Bungalows
  • Disney’s Wilderness Lodge – Club Level
  • Disney’s Yacht Club Resort – Club Level
  • Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels – Presidential Suites, Governor Suites, Parlor Suites, Premium Alcove Rooms

Is that JUST the bungalows, we are staying DVC at Poly but in a studio

No. It appears to be Poly Bungalows and Poly Club Level at this point. It's based on room type/category, and per that article these are the ones eligible:

I suspect you're probably right on that GADisneyDad14!

(At least I hope so...otherwise we've been missing out on a pretty sweet perk!) :rotfl:

You missed out. It was a pretty sweet perk...now gone. :(
We stay CL and that part about getting free FPs is definitely not the norm. Highly unusual, if it happened.

It happened...did you ever ask for some and were turned down?

I was surprised that they wouldn’t take my money today!!! Lol the system/program must be so new that everything has to be done at once which I guess makes sense...

I was really just hoping to have availability to go onto website to book my fastpasses but oh well

On another note this is why I believe at THIS TIME this will have no affect on fastpasses at the 60 day mark for everyone else. It appears to be almost like a note in the account and they maybe given anytime fast passes upon arrival or loaded onto magic band when we arrive so for now no one should be up in arms

REALLY inconvenient... can't imagine it stays this way if the offer sticks around.

Just booked. They book you three fp per day and a night time show per night. I prefer if I could put the fast passes on my own but I guess that's not how they do it. Also I have to go in on day 60 and book my regular three fastpasses myself on day 60

Just to be 100% sure: you had to pick specific times for your FPs when you booked them over the phone, or just which day you want to use them?

Has anyone tried to do this with a stay at the Swan or Dolphin yet? When you call Disney Signature Services, they redirect you to the Swan and Dolphin. When you speak to someone at the Swan and Dolphin, they explain that they are not yet set up for this service and to check back in a week or so.

In addition, can someone explain to me what a Premium Alcove room is? I see Deluxe Alcove and Premium Studios listed but nothing that refers to a Premium Alcove being available for rental. Any help here would be much appreciated!

Did you get specific info on where the reserved viewing would be? I was told it's a roped off area but did not give me location or anything like that? Was trying to get at if this would be with the desert parties or its own area?

What I was told by DSS, FWIW:
  • MK/HEA - Plaza Garden West (this is the garden area in front of Casey's, the opposite garden from where they do the Plaza Garden dessert party) (my personal opinion is this won't the whole garden area but maybe a smaller, roped off portion of it)
  • Epcot/Illuminations - Germany, on the water near the glass cart
  • HS/Fantasmic! - Near the dessert & VIP viewing experience area
  • AK/ROL - Enter via the FP entrance, close to the water in/near the FP area
