Just found out our AKV did not pass. We are bummed. I guess $95 a point is not enough or there was a waiting list to fill for December use year.

Sorry to hear this. I am really surprised... That seems like a really good offer compared to some other prices that have reportedly passed. We are currently waiting on one now that has an offer of $87.50... Good luck on the next one...

Sorry to hear. Just goes to show the randomness in it. Our AKV with a Dec UY passed at $80.

Probably buying up December UY to sell direct at AKV in the next few months.

One theory that I have heard recently on Disney taking loaded contracts, that may not hold any water at all, is to look at current use year points and figure out what the "street" value of those points would be if rented out then deduct from the sales price to get the comparable per-point cost of that sale.

That said, looking at some of the other contracts that pass... this must not be the case. I really wish there was some better sense of what drives the decision. Disney could set a floor on prices, and we could just buy points without the stress. Of course, they would lose one motivator to buy direct.

i emailed her around 11:30 eastern did not hear back so i called around 3:15 she answered phone said she was waiting for the to come in today( She Say they came in about 20 min before i called ) she looked for mine and it passed
