Can anyone tell me how long it will take to get the Kona Cafe at the Poly from Wilderness Lodge. I have a 7:10 dinner reservation.

Thanks!

How are you planning on going? You have a few options. Taxi/Uber/Lyft. Boat to MK and monorail over. Boat to CR and monorail over. A bit tough to predict the boat/monorail timing - give yourselves plenty of time, like 1-1.5 hours I would think just to be safe?

I would probably taxi/Uber/Lyft going just for your own sanity and then monorail/boat coming back when you can take your time and enjoy a leisurely monorail/boat ride.

Busses run pretty regularly in the morning. The only one we had problems with was Epcot. We had an 8 am ADR, and thought we'd catch a bus around 7:15. Nothing showed up from 7:00-7:20, so we grabbed a cab. That was not the case the rest of the week. And the MK morning busses start at 6:30. All other busses we're fine in the mornings.

Thanks!! I'm not sure if we can do uber or cab because my mother will have a ecv. But it's good to know the busses run that early.

The new Minnie Vans have ecv capable ones. However, you should be okay for rope drop. The Epcot one was a fluke that week, and like I said, the rest of the time was fine.

Here is my newest resort tour video: a 4K UHD Full Tour of Disney'w Wilderness Lodge Resort! I hope this helps anyone who is planning a trip or just helps anyone who wants to relive the magic!!
nelsonj3 - Great video! I've watched part and am looking forward to showing my grandchildren in the morning. We will be at WL in Feb. They are very excited and have lots of questions about where we are staying. You video is perfect timing! Thanks!!!!

We're headed (officially now) August 31 - September 5 at Boulder Ridge. Long time visitor to the Lodge, first time sleeper! :) Can't wait to stay there. Will be the BF's first official trip to WDW. (Feel free to add us to the list here!)

Has anyone stayed in a deluxe room and can give me a "comfort" report on the pull out sofa? I really need to know if this pull out is comfortable enough for one adult (average size), or would it be more comfortable or necessary to add an egg-crate foam cushion to it.

Thanks so much!

We are planning a trip for April with our daughters, 11 and 8, trying to decide between WL and BC. Our second trip, first one was two years ago staying at AKL CL. We loved AKL but the distance to everything was difficult, travel took up a lot of time. We did have dinner at Whispering Canyon and had a fun time and thought the resort was beautiful.
It is a tough choice with BC being so close to Epcot and DHS, and the pool. Me and daughters are not crazy about the BC theme, being from MA we do Cape Cod every year so prefer something different, W is not as bothered by that. But WL is so unique and beautiful.
We are curious about the travel from WL. Are the boats crowded, ie do you have to wait for multiple boats (put aside after fireworks) we dont have to do rope drop. How is the travel to Epcot, since we really like Epcot also.
Finally, how are the breakfast options? Not sure if we will do CL this time but that was extremely convenient. We dont need a huge breakfast, we are ok with choices like a continental breakfast provides.

IIRC it is rather comfortable

I spent one night on it a few years ago and was pleasantly surprised

I was happy I was in a real bed and DS was on the pull out. :-)

But, I'd rate is as sort of average pull out... not the worst one I've ever seen, not the best. The room gets very tight when it's out, FWIW.

Have fun!

The boats are really nice and we have seldom had to wait for a second boat. I think the thing I like best is how nice it is to take a boat back to WL after a busy day at MK.

The bus to Epcot shares with Fort Wilderness so it takes about 20 minutes to get to Epcot. But WL is the first stop on the way back from the parks and DS, which is nice. Our two favorite resorts are BC and WL and we find that travel to Epcot from WL is fine.

The breakfast options are better at WL than at BC. They have a little more variety at WL.
