I am so jealous of everyone who has a shot at doing this... I will have to go and drown my sorrows two days before the first one (we leave on Labor Day to go home...)

I really wanted to do this event last year, but we were there in October not September. So glad I finally go through. Took about 6 calls-

One poster so far reported being able to book reserved seating by calling. (I edited my post above to mention that calling is necessary for the reserved seating).

I could book reserved seating for 10/21 but she told me that we would be seated with other people. Is this correct?

I'm still being told trader Sam's hasn't been loaded and they keep putting in fix tickets. Anybody have any luck with 9/13?

I just called and all TS slots are booked ...CM said she looked at all dates and 30 names were on each date

This was the case when we did it a while back... I'm sure others will have more current experiences...

ETA: I went back through my notes from years ago and we DID have our OWN TABLE when we did RESERVED seating!! NOT SO with "guaranteed seating".

Anyone with more recent experiences?? Ours was years ago...

When I did reserved seating a few years ago we were not seated with others (and there were just two of us) . I think the Disney Food Blog said you wouldn't be, but.. Here's what Disney says and it's unclear

They specifically say "other guests" for Guaranteed, but says "private" for reserved. To me that means you won't be with others, but.... who knows what it means to Disney!

I'm trying to book the Signature dining at the Contemporary Catering Chef's Table for Oct 27, and I'm being told there is no availability still. But she could find openings in other signature dining events.

This is super frustrating.

I just called and got right through! She was able to find the Signature Dining at Flying Fish dinner on 10/26 but it's showing unavailable. It's either booked up or not available for them to book. I still see it online but without a time to select, so I'm going to just continue checking the site to see if that time pops up for me to book. ::sigh::

I've talked to 5 different supervisors between Tuesday and today. All supervisors Tuesday showed 30 slots booked Tuesday. They pulled the list showing when each reservation was booked, not just looking at open slots. Not sure how people booked 9/27 today. Cast members are still telling me the event only seats 30. Really hoping they open more slots...
