Disney Gift Card Deals

Southwest, Park N' Fly Atlanta, Park N' Fly Dallas and SeaWorld could work for those interested, nice savings.
I should have clarified – I don't expect that all of the gift cards on that list will be 25% off, I was just providing the link to try to give people an idea of gift cards that Sam's typically discounts at 20% off, which are the ones I would expect to be for the discounted for their sale. I doubt Southwest, Disney etc. will be included in that sale.

I probably made this more confusing than when we started - I just want to make sure I'm not giving anyone false hope.

Slightly off-topic...

Anyone have experience with the shopping portal Yazing? Have you been paid? If so, how long did it take?

TIA

Sorry for the delayed response . . . wanted to go back and check my records. I got paid on 12/21 from a purchase on 10/11 (via paypal). Right now, I have a small amount pending from a Sam's Club gift card I bought online at Sam's. I think they are ok, but their site is not very user friendly.

Wasn't that you set our hopes.. we did that all by ourselves :)

I didn't have to use my card to get discount at disney store

In the parks they've been requiring you use the Disney Visa or Redemption Card for the purchase to get the discount. You might occasionally find someone who gives a discount without using it but I think that fewer and farther between now. I wouldn't depend on it.

The rule seems pretty clear to me. "Pay for your purchases with your Disney Visa Card or Disney Rewards Redemption Card to receive your savings." If they have someone a discount just for showing the card, they weren't suppose to.

It is now. But years ago if you just had the card the cashiers would give you the discount. You showed it, they pressed the 'Disney Visa Discount' button (or whatever, maybe it was manual, who knows?) and they would ask 'Would you like to use the card to pay?' or give you your total and just accept anything for payment. I found it interesting as it would make sense to get the discount only if you used it to pay, but it went on like that for years. In 2011 I had a couple cashiers make a point to mention that I'd have to use the card to get the discount, which I was planning to do anyway. But it stuck in my head that they must have updated the system or made a procedural change to get the Visa discount.

Since then I can only think of 2 occasions where I got the discount and wasn't expecting it. One the cashier asked if I had the card, I said yes but I didn't have it on me - gave me the discount anyway. The other I was shy of the $50 requirement so I asked if they offered discounts for AAA members or anything, she said if I had Disney Visa I could get 10% so I fished the card out and went on my way thinking they may have changed the perks. But no, she either wasn't aware or very magical :)

So if paying with the Rewards Dollar Card, do we need to mention that's what it is to receive the discount?

We've got about $200, I just figured it'd be treated like a gift card - I didn't realize it counted for your 10% off.

What stores can I use gift cards to buy Disney gift cards? i.e. can I use target, best buy, Wal-Mart etc. gift card to buy them? I am trying maximize my Discover rewards and swagbucks.
