I had heard chatter a couple of months ago about A&C lounge moving over to the Fittings and Fairings location. I had not heard that Fittings and Fairings was moving over to Ale and Compass, though. I wonder if that move will be temporary, while the merchandising area of the space is remodeled.

Judging from the photos, it certainly appears as though the food and beverage area should be able to open within the next couple of weeks, or so. If they can board off the merchandising floor for remodeling, like they did for what I have heard called the Market at Ale and Compass Marketplace, there should be no reason why they can't start operating in May.

Thank goodness. We do a lot of hotel time at Yacht/Beach and when we are at Beach Club we always get the mugs because you can get drinks just as fast at the quick service as in the machines but not at Yacht Club.

At loooooooong last weve almost made it back! Had this holiday booked since April 2015. Won't actually believe I'm there until we check in and I've made it this time!!

This morning while driving DS 13 to school, I mentioned that we will be staying at BC for summer at WDW and he mentioned Teena and how wonderful she was every time we stayed at BC/YC. I told him that she retired and she no longer works at BC and he was alittle sad and said that it won't be the same. We miss you Teena!

As reported on Friday, the long awaited showers for SAB are close to complete. As of yesterday, 5/8 they were still not open but I did get some pictures of what you can expect to see if you need to utilize them.

Thank you so much for the update and the pictures. It sure does look like they will be open for business soon!

I have some sad news about one of our friends here on the board- I just learned that Debbie (screen name hill6) passed away suddenly yesterday while on vacation at Disney with her husband Mike and daughter Chrissy. Her husband emailed me this morning with the shocking news. She had just sent me pictures by email of the road construction near the WDW arch as they were travelling from Universal to Disney. I had gotten to know her well through our shared love of the Beach Club, Disney, Universal and planning for trips.

can anyone help me out with menus? I never really looked at the menus until I just heard there were some changes. I just checked captains grill breakfast and it no longer lists any buffet, we loved it 3 years ago so is it no longer being offered with the new location? Same kind of question about cape may breakfast buffet, the menu , while I know its a buffet it looks like the selection has been drastically reduced. We have biscuits and gravy eaters in our house and I am not seeing that on the menu. I also remember fritatas and potatoes. Is it just a vague menu or has something changed?

We're planning to go to breakfast at Captain's Grill tomorrow so I'll let you know. They no longer have regular pancakes listed either, only waffles. My DH will want pancakes, so might be a problem. We're staying club level, I'm not going to pay for him to order a bagel or pastry he can get in the lounge. Will probably stop by later today & see if I can look at a breakfast menu.

So happy about the showers!! This always suckeed. We have a late evening 10 hr intl flight. And always swim before MDE pick up. That open shower by the pool was ok, but a real shower is much better.
