You hear it here when other members are notified and come here to post OR they went looking and found it and came here to post.

Most think there will not be an early announcement to members, but members may get an extra week of dates on the front end that are available to them to book free dining that general public cannot.

Would visa members get an email telling them that?

No, you can't do that. You can't use 2 park tickets to enter different parks on the same day.

Viajero Magico, the Argetinian twitter account who first broke the news about Free Dining just updated the dates for December. The correct starting date is indeed 12/8 and not 12/3 as previously reported.

And you really think that all resorts fill up year round? Even small resorts such as POFQ don't have that happen. And yeah, I'm aware that FQ doesn't partake in FD.

No, we know all the resorts are NOT completely full year-round; that's why we have a free dining discount.

However, if there are no rooms in Disney's inventory today, they won't magically appear come Monday morning so they can sell them with a discount. Now, it could be the rooms they've allocated/given to other vendors (Orbitz, etc) are out there and those rooms go unsold. I don't know when Disney takes them back or the other vendors give them back, but those could be the "empty" rooms you are seeing. We also know that around this time, many people are holding more than one reservation in hopes of getting FD. My guess is (and it's just a guess), there are also some TAs out there who are booking rooms to have for their clients.

None of us are saying Disney's rooms are always sold out. We ARE saying that Disney is NOT holding back inventory for this or any other promotion. If you don't agree, that's fine. We're all entitled to our opinion.

I'm not a Visa card holder, but others have posted throughout that some do get an email, some do not, some get it the afternoon AFTER it drops in the morning.

- 13/8-30/9
- 14/11-20/11
- 25/11-27/11
- 8/12-23/12

Keep in mind this is NOT the Brazilian offer, but the dates of the US offer.

Nope! You can use a TS as a CS but not the other way around, in any way
