Woo hoo! I like that I won't have to wait for a bus. I have "after 5pm" convention tickets for my first two days there. Run out of the last class to my room, change into a park storming attire, and jet out to Epcot!

Yep it is so close that the 1st day we didn't have a park planned but dropped our bags, rested, then went for a late lunch in Canada because hey it was close and they had a reservation. Had we needed to hop on a bus we wouldn't have done it.

Wow! Thanks for letting us know about all of the Easter happenings. That sounds like a lot of fun. Did you have to pay an additional fee for any of the activities like the ceramics?






Thank you so much for the great pictures. I love the hallway rug. That is also great news about a bottle of water being included in the room. I am assuming that is replaced daily by housekeeping if the guests use it.

Oh I forgot to ask after our last trip. Is it normal for MK buses to only run every 30 minutes? We went to the MK one night and seriously bus took 30 minutes (we barely missed the one that had just pulled away) and it was just incredibly frustrating.

Made a quick visit to the YC yesterday...in addition to the pop up Fittings and Fairings, the globe is missing with a table with beautiful flowers on it in its place:

Got to wonder what this world is coming to....
Maybe it's going to be one of those new games for kids to play to search for the missing globe. But in all seriousness, it better be back once the refurbs are all completed.

Yes - in addition to finding hidden Mickeys, they can now try to find the hidden globe.

Perhaps a visitor to the YC can ask a CM about the whereabouts and future of the iconic globe.

We are staying at the BC for the first time next month (so excited!). We are doing the Keys to the Kingdom tour at MK and need to check in no later than 8:15am for our 8:30am tour.
What is the best way to get from BC to MK early in the morning?

The MK buses don't usually run that long between stops. I think the goal is to be on a 20 minute schedule. Thirty minutes is unusual but it does happen. To be far, though, we've had 30 minute waits in the late afternoon at just about every resort we've stayed at.

There is an early bus to MK that starts running at 6:30am. When we took the KTTK tour we grabbed a bus around 7:00am.

I believe during Easter the Globe goes away so that the Eggs can be displayed on that table. It gets a good cleaning and touch ups then usually comes back not too long after the eggs go away. I wouldn't freak unless it is gone still next week.

Hi - posted this on another thread, but I think this is better placed here as this is most certainly where the wealth of knowledge is for BC/YC....
and apologies if this has been asked before, but can anyone confirm the reopening of Fittings and Fairings? I thought it was a May timeframe, but now it seems like July?
