I've been to Newfie!! Stayed in St John's for a week. Went on the Scademia. Went up Signal Hill. Ate scrunchions, saltfish and
brewis.
I'm Australian, and to this day I have still never met another person who has been to Newfie.

When we first took my DS on Everest (he was 5), he HATED it and every time he would catch a gimps if the mountain he would say it made him so mad he wanted to "smash it with a hammer"! We still reference this when someone is angry in our family. "Are you smash it with a hammer mad?".

He loves Everest now. Don't ask me how we got him back on (l paid him a dollar to try again).

So funny! Mine will be 5 when we are back in September, I think he will meet the height requirement for EE this trip!! I can not wait to put him on it, it's my favorite ride ever!! And I will totally use bribery for tot again if I have too!!

I may need to use bribery to get my mom on it at all!

We are going on a mother/daughter trip and she may not trust my judgement on rides. When I was a teenager I may have told her I couldn't remember if RNR had loops. Wish I had a picture of her face after that ride!!

It was 2001 in June (? Can't remember!) and weather was great. Warm, blue skies. No rain. I met someone online who lived there and I ended up staying at her parents' place. That was back in the days when no one batted an eyelid at meeting people online.
I travelled across Canada on my own after I finished uni on my way to living in London. I added on Newfoundland at the last minute and after a few days extended my stay by a week to just hang out. Very relaxed.
