So, I'm just putting this out there more as thinking out-loud more than anything else, but do you guys think (or know if) an original MagicBand from last year will work still with the advent of the new MB? I have my ticket all set up with MDE and everything, so I figure it SHOULD work, but since I don't have a package and I'm getting my AP while I'm down there I don't have a current MB and do find it super convenient.

I guess I just want someone else to reassure me I'm right lol.

But either way, I got my ticket in the mail today! I can't wait to use it!

I linked my existing magic band (one I have had for two years) to my tickets and it shows up as linked. So I am assuming it will work. I too plan to purchase an annual pass while there and link it to existing band while there as well as personalize a new annual pass magic band for the next trip!

I'm glad you have the same assumption of me! I still have my MB from last year linked and from looking at it it looks like everything's still linked, including my current pass.

Yes, it should still work. And if, for some random reason, it doesn't Guest Services or the resort check-in or concierge can provide you with a new one. I only know this because I had an issue with mine on my last trip and the resort got me a new one, in the same color and everything! And then when you get your AP you'll be able to order a new one, but that won't really help for this trip...

I don't remember seeing one, but I figured I would ask anyway......Is there a post / master list of everyone's dates? That way we could see who is traveling at the same time in case someone wanted to arrange a DISmeet.

actually no, we used to do this here though and I noticed that in between my trips it seems to have fallen off. I would be happy to edit the first post with people's dates if everyone would like that.

Thank you for offering, I know it is a big undertaking. Maybe if everyone list their dates and resort again you wouldn't have to scroll through the entire thread to hunt everyone down. My DD and I are staying at ASSP 4/16 - 4/21.

Here now. Last night was lovely, we had a great evening at animal kingdom. Waits extremely low for EE, dinosaur, primeval whirl, rapids. EE legit freaked me out - it was the first time I was on it and I was fine until the going backwards part and then I thought for sure I was going to pass out! I then promptly rode it again.

Today also great, took a cab to Epcot since we had a pre-park breakfast; worked great and the park was a little less busy at first I think due to the rain. They have a lovely flower and garden Duffy that I am kicking myself for not getting. Hopefully we will see again when we go back.

I planned evening activities every other night, not a lot of walking (e.g., dessert party stuff), but still a little nervous as I am wiped out today after being at the park from 8am to 2pm. My feet, ahhh! I remember last time we ended up scrapping most evening activities since we were tired. I'll see.

We're going 4/24-4/30, staying at Pop! Unfortunately, we weren't originally staying on property - the Disney site wasn't showing anything available, nothing at all, for the values, so I made an off-property ressie, and FPs with that in mind. And then one morning, I checked again, and Pop was available! That had been my first choice anyway - 5th time staying there. But now my FPs don't allow for EMH. Ah well, I'll live! Just me and hubby, and he'll be golfing every morning. That's ok, he's not always fun at the parks. Trying to work out a couple of bugs - coming in at 11 pm into Sanford, and staying the weekend with my parents, 1-1/2 hrs away, so the car rentals will be closed, and I'm trying to find a hotel we can stay at that first night. And I have to call and reserve an ECV (first time I'm ever doing this). But everything will get settled!

I leave in a week! I've packed my clothes into packing cubes and have most of my things that I know I won't need until I'm in Florida set aside! I'm hoping to go to my parents' house either tomorrow or Sunday to grab my suitcase.

Also, did anyone see that you can get a refillable wine glass in Epcot starting Sunday? Because that's something I'm definitely going to have to get!
