Thank you! I did do a quick search after I asked, but still only found rumors. But it looks like there was a prebooking option with the official release tomorrow. Gives me hope!

Yeah. I think we are past rumor about the offer but I never paid much attention to release date.

This Savory summer offer confuses me. So I've heard $30 to upgrade to reg QS. And I just read back in March on this thread it said $40 day for adult to upgrade to reg QS.

The QS plan is $48 a day. WhYbwould it be $40 to get 1 more QS and snacks. I don't even have this, not going in summer, but so curious.

Okay on reflection I can see maybe the $30 being right but not the $40. Let's say if the $48 they break it down like this 2 QS meals at $18 each, 2 snacks at $6 each. So the summer Savory deal gave you a credit of $18 per person per day. I hope you guys were able to stack room discounts too because that isn't too much off.

Maybe one set of prices has tax included and one doesn't. The pesky taxes added on later always get me. Why, oh why, is it not included in the prices already???

I don't know, I was all set for thinking the Savory Summer Deal was going to be my cheapest option. Since upgrading to QSDP from that offer was another $605. Like I said I could easily pay out of pocket for extra meals and snacks and still save, making sure I pay OOP on the cheaper QS meals.

I'm still kicking myself that we didn't book our BB offer when we were there last September.

We have a BB for FD that we had booked just In case we could go, which we are! So definitely Book the BB if you can! It's been worth that $200 deposit! We will book it again this time too even though we probably cannot go next year.

It made it only $200 cheaper but no free QS meal per person per night so the SSO was a better deal.

I'm thinking FD isn't going to be a deal for me, since I have the Savory Summer Offer.

If you used your card to book this res you should be able to modify if any extra dates or benefits are available otherwise yes you will need to call or book a new res online using your card.

Thanks....I did use my credit card to pay. I just don't want to wait for the email. By that time, things could be gone.

What about Characters in Flight? Anyone done that? I think she'd like it, too?

My kids really enjoyed Characters in Flight several years ago. They did it at night. My daughter was 10 and said it was beautiful. I stayed on the ground where I belong and had a pretzel

Except for maybe 2014 the last few years when Disney released free dining for the UK a few days later it was announced in the US (the dates below are general only and not visa card holders). What are your thoughts?

I mentioned this also, like 70 pages ago. This board moves quick! Seems logical to me. I'm not in the hunt but I had so much fun last year I decided to follow along! If this logic works out I would expect someone in the know to post something in the next day or two. The anticipation is killer!

Cool. We are moving quick. I must have missed it but I weirdly have a "free dining dropping??" Reminder on my calendar for today. Once I got here I didn't know why I put it but must have been related to the U.K. Offer.

Hmmmm; they might be marking the dining reservations with GC at CBR with a $TY: could that possibly mean that CBR might not be included in FD and are coded as such on the reservations? Just taking a stab in the dark....I hope this is not the case at all...

I would guess that the $TY means a GC Thank You?

I was told by Disney I would be able to apply the FD or any other promotions and still receive the GC. That's the only reason I didn't change resorts.

I was just able to get a standard room at CBR at the end of August for the summer offer!! Had been previously booked with the gc's but unable to apply any offer until now. It's not FD but it's something

Typically they have free dining bounce backs for guests staying onsite August through October. Sometimes November as well. When we were there last September we got one and booked for this December.

Can you clarify this for me a little please! We will be there September 2017 and December 2017. Would I be able to possibly book a FD bounceback at one of these stays?

Should have a bounceback in September for free dining. December should be a room discount. Sometime in August people will post what the bb dates and resorts are. Last year it ran from aug 1-oct 31 for bookings.

So some of you were talking awhile back about splitting up a qs into 3 snack credits, correct me if I'm wrong. What I was wondering is if anyone has ever converted 3 snack credits into a qs? We always have extra snack credits even before it got changed to 2 a night.

This is something I definitely want to do - sounds like the perfect chance to go up in a balloon without being completely terrifying, lol. I like the idea of being tethered. I suspect that DH will stay on the ground, he hates heights so much!

I have never heard of trading UP from SC to CS. But you could easily use 3 snack credits to create a meal at many QS locations
