Hi everyone. I have read countless places that the way to get the best value is to rent DVC points and purchase food/tickets, etc separately.
My plans as of now are to stay at Port Orleans Riverside in December 2018 (yes I am a planner as an 11 year late honeymoon with my wife. We have been to Disney many times but this will be our first trip by ourselves...we are normally in a large group.
Here is where my struggle is: I have done the math and research and it will be more expensive going the DVC route . December typically offers free dining this time of year and I would not qualify for this using the DVC rentals. So what does everyone prefer from their experience? Is DVC rentals really worth the extra $$.
If I go the DVC route it would more than likely be Wilderness Lodge or Polynesian Village that we stayed at.
Thanks in advance!
