Is the wait for Moana crazy-bad right now? Going in a week and a half, and we're planning on trying to see her late afternoon. Similarly... how's the wait to see Santa at HS?

Thanks!!!!

Not bad at all! At least not today. Went this afternoon and it was 15 minutes at the most. She's beautiful! :)

Moana line was short on Friday. Sign outside said 30 minutes, only waited about 15.

Santa is on a pager system. We checked in around 1 and were quoted about 3 hours and given a pager. We were told it only works on Sunset Blvd so to go do whatever we wanted and check back in at 4 to make sure it hadn't gone off/wasn't about to go off. Around 3 pm, we were near the stage in front of the GMR and it went off so I guess it works further. Once we were actually in line, we only waited 10-15 minutes.

do you think getting a pager before going to the Beauty and the Beast show would work? How long do they give you to respond to the pager? Is it loud?

We saw Moana on Thanksgiving Day and there was little wait at all. 5 people in front of us, I'd guess.
I suspect the waits will grow as more learn that she's there and as more see the movie and learn who she is.

Yes I think that would be fine. The line is going to be at least longer than the show, if not more unless it's completely dead lol. Ours went off, it took us maybe 10 minutes to walk back and by the time it got there it was no longer buzzing. We gave it to the CM and they asked if had gone off. When we said yes they let us in the line.

Our wait was about 10 minutes. A small crowd eventually formed behind us. It seemed like she was interacting a good amount with each guests before us, but I felt we were rather rushed when we met her. May have been because we were two adults.

Saw her Saturday - said 30 minutes but felt more like 20? She was cute but did not spend a ton of time with each family (thus the shortness).

We went Saturday. The sign for Santa said 40 minutes. The sign for Moana said 30. The actual wait was less than posted for us. About 20 minutes at Santa and 15 minutes at Moana.

:thanks:for the quick response!! Now, is she in costume from head to toe ala Sophia the First, or like the princesses? Not that it matters...just curious.
she is a face character
so you see a real person in a dress/costume

How long is she going to be there?
We'll be at WDW in mid Feb, hope she stays until then!

I am sure she'll be at one of the parks by then. If she's like Anna and Elsa, they will probably find a new home for her. If it was in MK, I would imagine an area in Adventureland or maybe Princess Fairytale Hall, but they just got Elena. I wouldn't expect her to have a home at EP, but maybe AK.

We saw her on Tuesday. It was a rainy day and kids are still in school so crowds were less than usual. Sign never said longer than 30 minutes. We only waited maybe 10. It was a magical moment. Not sure why but I teared up. I think it was the music.

My fingers are crossed for somewhere other than DHS by August. I don't do enough at DHS to warrant wasting a ticket - I cannot stand Star Wars and am not a Toy Story fan - but I really want to meet Moana!!

We went this past Friday around 9:30am. The sign said 20 minutes but we walked right in.

We saw Santa later that morning. Again the sign said 20 minutes. We waited maybe 10 and he was the most realistic Santa I've ever seen.

We didn't see pagers at either place, likely because lines were low.
