My problem with it is I don't want to take away from discussion else where. I want a rumor to be reported and then have it discussed and one thread for rumor tracking might take away from that. I am definitely open to suggestions. The news round up thread works because it's smaller news stories that don't generate a ton of discussion. Larger stories like star wars land or whatever deserve their own threads. I'm just wondering if there is a better way to go about this.

Well, I think the rumor can drive that. We all hear rumors, so as long as the are...unsubstantiated, they can stay in the one rumor tracking thread. Once we get one or two insiders confirming it, we can create a thread solely for that rumor. It is not a great deal different from what you do now, in this thread, but it will allow you to use this for announcements and openings and such, and allow all the "rumor" opinion to drive the other.

Disney Announces Plans for Third 'Star Wars' Anthology Film for 2020 (from Rolling Stone)

"Disney announced that Lucasfilm will pump out a new anthology film set in George Lucas' galaxy far, far away by 2020, according to chief executive Bob Iger. Deadline reports that at the Goldman Sachs Communacopia conference, Iger said the scheduled film would form a trilogy with this December's Rogue One and the upcoming Han Solo spinoff film starring Alden Ehrenreich, all under the A Star Wars Story banner.

Iger also said he does not expect the box-office receipts from Rogue One to hit the same highs that The Force Awakens reached last winter."

Yeah, but, there is no comparison between CoL and the Stitch attraction. CoL is one of Walt's originals, and one of the few left. Can't believe they've gone so long before committing to upgrade it.

Meh, don't much care if there is. I know Disney said a few years ago they would downplay these off anniversaries. As long as they have a big 50th.

So HP is no longer the sponsor of Mission:Space? When did this occur? I must have missed it. I think MS opened around 2003 so I guess their sponsorship contract came to an end.
