So.. After staying up all night .. And no availability at ANY mods .. I call at 7.. Got thru... Still no mods available for my dates 8/24-8/31.. But we were able to get Boardwalk and save $1300.. Happy about that but really wanted a mod It's just so crazy that they have all been booked up already !! Good luck to all still trying and thanks everyone for the info and advice !!

It took me a few tries despite phoning at 8am sharp, I even got a "experiencing technical dificulties". Dunno if it makes any difference, but I asked for a portuguese speaking person. I ended up getting an english CM anyway, but didnt have to wait

He's going to be on a full size bed anyway...that's all that's available in the pirate rooms, plus they have a footboard which will further complicate the problem for him.

Can anyone confirm if there is a separate inventory for Canadians? Because I've read through this thread and the disappointments, but I just got CSR Standard with Free Dining. Like minutes ago.

LOL, I've wondered the same thing, although you'd think that would be insane for them to do. Checking prices at 5am EDT after everything dropped, then actually booking an Oct 30-Nov 4 room discount for the Cabins, adding on tickets, DDP, Memory Maker, and Insurance, all of it was completely smooth, no hiccups, no issues from here in Ontario.
DH thinks we get routed to a different server or page or somesuch based on IP address. (He's in IT.)
One thing is for sure: I found the Disney site's process so easy and obvious and simple--esp compared to Air Canada's travel site!!! (To be fair, AC didn't build their site around booking Disney special promotions, but still.)

Thanks for teaching me so much, everyone! I might still change my mind and go for some FD, and I know what to do. ;-)

GAH, I'm such a sore loser lol. This whole family of 5 thing is what screwed us. So the only logical thing to do is pick our 2 favorites and take them

My Final note...I have a big problem hearing that other countries have Disney special offers before USA release. (United Kingdom promo dates out for 2017 already?) Especially seeing the extreme lack of room availability this am. Come on Walt, Take care of your own 1st!

It's a global company and they need more planning time than we do. It makes sense to me

Did anyone go for WPM instead of Hopper? I did. I'm hoping Disney Quest will still be open in November-- we've never been. We really never use hopper. Will I be able to change the add-on without disrupting the reservation if Disney Quest closes?

Just checked my reservation. I guess I wasn't paying too much attention at 4:15 am. My standard at BC was changed to pool/lagoon view. I was wondering why the cost was only $300 less.

Your's was LESS switching from Standard to Pool?

Yes I did but nothing was available for my existing resort( YC) so we made the switch to Boardwalk ..even though that clown pool freaks me out

Yes, you can modify tickets at any time.

I just finished booking! Unfortunately both Music and Sports were sold out of standard rooms for the FD promo during my dates (9/16-9/22) with zero issues. I settled on Pop even though it was more than I was planning on spending. I love Pop but I was trying to go as cheap as I could. Will keep checking to see if Music or Sports gets more rooms released for the FD later in the day.

Same here...ended up paying $384.24 more for the CBR pirate than our standard CSR standard room. Could have booked ASMu and upgraded and not paid anymore money, but we're four adults in one room and one of our guys is 6'4...didn't think the full size beds would cut it lol!

FYI - the Pirate rooms at CBR have double beds - not queens!

Yes it is. I think you have up to two weeks before your date to get a full refund but I'm sure someone will correct me.
