Marcelline to Magic Kingdom Tour?

DH & I went on the Keys to the Kingdom tour this past December and loved it. I was wondering about the Marcelline to Magic Kingdom tour. Does anyone have experience with this tour? How did you like it?

We did this tour in May and loved it. Never done KTTK so I cant compare the 2, but if you are interested in Walt's life and HM, it's worth it! We're disney addicts, but I still learned a lot of things I had never heard before. I would recommend it!

Did it this past November and really enjoyed it. the HM stuff was really cool. Make sure HM isn't down for refurbishment when you go. Unfortunately, park hours changed for when we went so didn't get in before the park opened. I recommend the early morning tour.

I also recommend the early tour...it's nice to start touring while the park is empty. I haven't been on any others so can't compare but found this tour to be a nice length and very interesting. The behind the scenes at HM was excellent. We were supposed to tour Jungle Cruise as well but it was down for refurb so did Carousel of Progress instead and it was very interesting. I would do that tour again since it seems it is different depending on which attractions are operating.

If you're an HM fan, that segment of the tour alone is worth the price of admission. When we did this we had no idea we'd get to see so much backstage at HM (our favorite attraction.)) We are also fans of COP, and it was cool to get a private showing for just our tour group. The tour is very reasonably priced, and we liked that it didn't consume a major chunk of our day. I think we finished in just under 2.5 hours.

I think DH & I will definitely do this tour the next time we visit. We did the KTTK tour this past December and loved it. I think we will like this one, as well.

I have this booked for my March trip - thanks for all the info - I am more excited now than when I booked it. We did the KTTK tour on our last trip and enjoyed it. This trip is whirlwind solo so wanted shorter tour. Sounds perfect for what I want.

I'm glad some folks are taking a shot at the tour. Please let us know your thoughts after your trips. The WDW tours seem to be consistently praised here on the boards. Other than an occasional "our guide was boring", most people seem to enjoy the experience. :earsboy:

We have this tour scheduled for next week. We have teen children and their ages did not meet the 16+ for Keys to the Kingdom. Looking forward to the Marceline tour.

This sounds so great! We did the Adventures by Disney Backstage Magic Disneyland, so we are hooked on ANYTHING that gets us behind the scenes. Is Haunted Mansion one attraction that's always done on this tour? (provided it's running-of course) It sounds to me that the other attractions toured change between Carousel of Progress and JUngle Cruise. Or, are there others that are regularly used for the behind the scenes portion? Just wondering..

my Dad (71) and I are going 11/26-12/3 and will be doing caring for giants as it’s only an hour. Dad loves all things Disney so am considering this too. He’s a little tippy, not needing a cane or anything, but will vear off to one side a bit but always staying on his feet. Is this something he could do? Do they stop for breaks and sit down? Thanks for any responses!!!

If there are breaks and sit down places, I think he’d love it

If you want a video review (and possibly some spoilers), TheTimTracker did a vlog of his Marcelline to Magic Kingdom tour just a few weeks ago on Youtube. It looked pretty cool!

Might want to think on this for your Dad. There are steps down and narrow single file corridor leading down under the HM and it is done in the dark. If you go beyond the mark on the floor you will be in the ride's illusion.

Would love to hear your feedback as to what attractions you got to see on your tour!
