GOT IT!!! CA to FL Repositioning Cruise!!!

We will be there too! Cat 6 for 3 of us.

The CA to FL dates are Aug 20 to Sept 3 2005

Thanks ivanova! Now to convince DH to take 2 weeks off and call school to see if kids could start a bit late. All before it sells out. So much excitement today!:teeth:

OK...have all the early booking discounts been given? Someone posted that the price of their sailing has already gone up...45 minutes after they booked? I hope DU got mine in before the increase....

We have 2 GTY 12 for the FL to CA

With air, transfers, insurance and taxes from Oregon is $4158.38 with DCL. I have not gotten anything from DU yet. :Pinkbounc

AHHHHH! Well since I've been in meetings all day, I am reading all this very unhappily! I can't very well keep my phone tied up with DCL all day at work. Hope I didn't miss out because of work, although it looks that way! Hopefully DU and AAA will pull through on this for us!:(

That's probably me starting scary rumors. I haven't heard from DU yet, so I've been checking the price at the DCL site. The latest FL-Ca quote I got from them is $300 more than the first. It said that the Early Booking Discount was there. I made sure I put in the exact same info for transfers, ins., air. It's also an eye opener for me that the same category for our family is $1000 less on the CA-FL cruise. Don't think I can get our family to do that. I quote my MIL, "I'm afraid of the ocean at the end of the summer." She lives on the coast of FL and I will never convince her that it will be ok.

I'll just continue waiting, and cheering for the rest of you.

Just heard from Sandie at All Seasons and we got our obstructed Category 7!!
Not 7120 but 6134 which is fine!!! We wanted the port side as the coast of Mexico and Central America will be on that side all the way down (If we get that close to shore to see it).

Parents got 6135 across the hallway.

Guess it was a long afternoon for DCL and the Travel Agents.

Guess I'm going to have to go through my garage and start getting stuff out for a garage sale now to pay for this :)

Cheers,
Grumbo

...and your point is??????

Still waiting to hear from DU also.....feeling rather discouraged.

I wonder how many that booked on their own also have DU getting them a quote??

Just hoping DU got our requests in early!! It is going to be a LONG day for them!!

I initially though I don't care how much it costs...but if waiting a few hours for DU to get me my quote ends up costing me $1000 that would REALLY not be cool!!

Yeah, hope to see you there Umterp. I hope Dreams had all their passenger info in a nice spreadsheet and called Disney will everyone at once. Maybe that's why they haven't gotten back to us.

Hi dreaminofdisney,
Yes, looks like we'll be neighbors on the CA to FL cruise !!! I emailed my DH and he was thrilled that we got the reservation...actually called me from work to find out the details. There are three of us, DH, me, and our DS (15).

WOW... you guys have patience... I didn't even know there was so much waiting going on for this. decided to go to the website and see how much it would be to do either cruise... FL to Ca was giving me a hard time so hubby and I decided CA to FL wouldn't be so bad (it gives us more time to save anyway)... so we went through the motions, got kicked out, went through the motions again got told site was down for matienance (didn't believe that since it was only 3:30pm) went through motions again and ended up with Ca to FL cat 11 room 7627 for hubby and myself for $2921.78 (no insurance no transfers)... VERY EXCITED now about the sailing and happy to see that their will be so many people on with us :) Let the countdown begin

At around 1220 hrs Category 7 with two adults and one child with no insurance and no transfers listed at $5402. At 1645 hrs it is now $6802!!!!!

Yikes

Cheers,
Grumbo
