Well, guys and gals...it's official...no December vacation this year. As you can see, I removed my countdown ticker. And I have officially canceled the reservation. It was so painful.

My two sisters that were going with me can't swing it this year, and I'm beyond bummed. I so much needed this vacation.

I need a group hug.

However, we are looking at May, and honestly, it seems much more promising. We might even be able to swing a 2 bdrm suite at Poly, or a Deluxe Room RPC at the Grand! Maybe there was a reason for the cancellation after all!

Personally, I have never thought the TPV was "worth" the expense. The views are a good distance from the park. The only TPV we enjoy is at the Contemporary where you are much closer.

If you feel like splurging for your celebration I would try club level or a special dining experience or show.

Oh my gosh, the gingerbread house looks amazing!

We leave in two days for my toddler's very first trip anywhere (apart from 5 hour drive to the grandparents). I'm actually more nervous than excited right now -- weird, right?

We made our ADRs this week, too! I think we still have silly grins and let an occasional giggle slip! Enjoy all the dining during your trip, dzac1717. We only have to wait six months!

They do sell gingerbread in the shape of the pieces made of the walls. The store is usually up a week or so after the house gets started.
