Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

I figured this thread would understand... we just got back from a glorious 2 week CL stay at Poly and BC - it was amazing! Well... we were playing around on JetBlue's getaways and found a great deal for our last 5 days of summer ... at Pop! So... we are officially returning to WDW in 29 days! We just can't get enough! I'm going to really miss having a lounge and the CL amenities but we couldn't pass up the chance to go again before my school year starts! Are we crazy!?!?!?!
No I have my cl trip coming up but am booking JetBlue airfare for January for a few days with dd and 2 friends. Annual passes expire 1/18 so.... Told the girls since i have points for airfare and free tickets I would pay for the room. One of the girls will be her first trip:)

Looking for Pop or CBR for a girl trip. princess:

You guys are all grounded! You have made me addicted and I haven't even stayed club level yet.

I initially booked WL but I fled like so many others due to construction. Now I'm GF RPC in late Sept under a Passholder discount. Then my husband and I had a weekend booked at BWI I'm November to see some Osborne Lights. room only discounts are out and we switched to CL for $80 more a night. We also booked under a different rate for poly CL (First time staying there and am super excited so they better get their act together and start offering something better than cost co food) for May 2016.

Can you say addiction!!

You are going to love RPC!! I can't comment on CL at the other two as we've never tried CL there, but we are looking forward to trying Poly CL next summer.

This will be our first stay doing club level. Split stay at poly and gf. Are we gonna get spoiled and never want to stay without it??

We figured we would rather go and stay at Pop then not go at all! How exciting to take your DD's friends! I assume once our DD4 gets older we could include a friend with us - she's an only child and I think she'd love that! For now, she's quite content with us but I'm sure that won't last forever!

This is a very distinct possibility, LOL. Everyone's experiences may vary, but for us, after staying on our first CL stay in November 2014 for our wedding, we are unable to go back to staying in non-CL rooms! It's all about the convenience- being able to grab a snack or drink whenever we feel like it while relaxing at the resort. It seriously cannot be beat for US!

Depends! I thought that would happen to us after our first unexpected upgrade to CL several years ago. We all loved it and followed up by booking a series of CL stays. This year, our CL stays have included Poly, WL, BC, AKL and GF RPC. But over the past few years, we've also stayed at Pop, AOA, Music and non-CL at BWI, Poly, AKL and BC. It really depends on the trip. We love CL when we have it - especially our youngest because he really benefits from down time in the lounge. And our teens eat a lot (although our oldest is starting to feel like all the club apps interfere with his ability to enjoy dinner!) But when we don't have CL, we spend more time in the parks, get refillable mugs, buy more snacks and are overall more spontaneous. I thought I would miss CL at BWI for my conference last month, but I didn't. After a long day of sessions, we were happy to get out and about and order fun drinks and appetizers.

Although the one time I always miss CL is at breakfast. We're all fine with a small breakfast. So CL breakfasts are super convenient and efficient for us. I get a little crabby thinking of going down to the Mara in a couple weeks to get stuff for the kids. Hope it's not too crowded!

I agree with pixarmom that it depends. When we stay CL it's mostly for the lounge and having another place to sit and relax instead of in the room or around the resort, but the food offerings are a nice perk. We have only stayed CL a few times (don't book it every trip) and while it is nice, our non-CL trips have been just as great.

Definitely agree here. While we do enjoy our CL stays, our non CL stays have been just as nice :).

Room #4235 is supposed to be right across from the lounge area and has a boardwalk view.

Just found this on a TA website:
"As well as standard-size rooms (six of which offer king beds), the concierge level has ten very spacious, 644-square-foot Deluxe Rooms, all with a spectacular view of Disney's BoardWalk and Crescent Lake, and even a view of theMagic Kingdom®’s fireworks in the far distance. They come with two queen beds, bureau with flat-screen TV, desk, and an open seating area outfitted with a sleeper sofa, coffee table, easy chair, and extra bureau with an additional flat-panel TV and DVD player. Five Deluxe Rooms are on the 3rd floor and the other five on the 4th floor."
Just reading through these so I'm a couple weeks late but room #4235 at the BWI is just across from the lounge and a boardwalk view but it is not a deluxe room. This room has 2 Queen beds and a daybed/couch but not the extra living room. I've been lucky enough to get this room twice and it's my favorite room at the BWI.

Like others have said, it really depends. We find it really nice for us when we are at WDW, mostly because we like to be at the resort between lunch and dinner, so it's nice to have the lounge to relax in and to be able to grab a drink and a snack. We also like the breakfast since we can each leave the room when we want to and just meet up in the lounge for a quick bite. I've stayed concierge level at other non-Disney locations, and while sometimes they are nicer, it just doesn't work with our touring style. If we aren't planning to spend a decent amount of time enjoying the lounge, then I just book a regular room. Also, if you are driving and can pick up a few items on the way, then you can have nice snacks in your room. We fly in and it's just more convenient to have the access to the lounge. So, yes, we feel spoiled and prefer CL at WDW...

I need to know about milk cartons as we'll. I was sort of assuming I'd be able to get it for my little for our upcoming trips that he is a part of.

BWI CL - what should my room request be? Do they have king beds? Going for an adults only quick 2 nights.

Do the lounges have milk to go? Like in a plastic bottle or carton?
When we stayed at BC CL earlier this month there were no individual cartons of milk. There were large dispensers on the counter with chocolate and plain milk.

That's what I was hoping for as well. I have a 2 year old and was hoping to have milk on the go. I think I'm going to buy a kids thermos and fill it up. Hopefully it will stay cold enough. Would that be frowned upon?

I am staying 1 night in Sugar Loaf CL and then moving to RPC for 3 nights. Will the GF move my luggage for me or will I have to "check" out, give my luggage to bell services and have it delivered to the new room?

We did a split SL to VGF. I walked over to vgf and checked in and left the kids in our room(dh drove to get mil). If the room WAS ready we would then walk them over ourselves. They did not have a room ready so I went back to sl and let the kids run over to mk. I called bell services for pick up and was told I had to be there. An hour later our room was ready and I called bell services for delivery. So it wasn't too bad. I just knew if I checked into a new room I would probably get locked out of 2nd so I made the kids stay for a few while I did that.

At cr we moved from 12th floor to a hospitality suite(both cl) since our room was ready the bell services came up and got our things and escorted us to our new room.

So basically it depends on if room is ready. It is nice knowing your belongings are near by if needed. you could pack a day bag and (I put what I might need that day) just go to bell services and tell them you don't need all of your things just that one bag if you needed it like at 1pm for a swim etc.

I managed to change our reservations and instead of doing a split BC / CR we are now staying all 6 nights at in the Tower CL at the CR! YAY!
It was not easy but thanks to an amazing CR IPO Cast Member that made the connection with the Guest Services Manager at the CR... we are set!

So happy not having to move resorts...and we wont miss SAB since we will be doing the Waterparks. I like the CR so much more although I was looking forward to seeing the new rooms at the BC!

Anyways... does anyone know if the menu on the 1st page is correct? I know its all subject to change but this menu reaches back years (from my searches about the food there).... have they really not changed the items since 2008? (http:// contemporaryresort.net /concierge_menu.html) remove the spaces...

AHHHH!!! So excited that we don't have to move!!! 33 days!!!!
