Pictures of things No Longer Seen at WDW

This one is so interesting to me. I just went to DL for the first time and Lightning McQueen and Tow Mater drive to their M&Gs there. I didn't think they ever did at WDW so it's nice to see that they did. I wonder why they stopped.

Come to think of it, I did notice that DL had a lot more moving vehicles on Main Street in DL and the trolley at DCA. I wonder why this is. Is is less crowded? Do people pay attention there more?

Harry Holt at the Opera House, 1992

He was a former Disney animator. He did a series of pencil drawings (which were reproduced). You wpuld pick a drawing, and he would add the finishing touches as you watched, and then he would personalize it.

The predecessor to the Hoop Dee Doo Musical Review had a much more humble name to start.

Anyone have one of the animatroinc orange bird from the early 1980s who flapped his wings and turned his head? He was at Sunshine Terrace and I ate a lot of citrus swirls I hated just to see him. Can't believe my five year old self took picks of the tacky hotel paintings and toilet and not of the beloved bird.

Here is a copy of one he did for Mom and me 10-1-90. Mom passed away in 2008 so it means a lot to me. She loved Bambi (especially Thumper).

ETA: sorry it printed them so many times. I wasn't sure it took the first ones.

Me with Roger Rabbit and myself sometime around 1989/1990. Sorry, I don't know how to upload a photo :(

Roger Rabbit has ZERO presence at WDW. My husband looks for anything with him on it. Last vacation he got a pin.
If you right click on the photo, you can select "copy image location". Then, when you come over here to post it, you click on the picture at the top of this window of the sun and mountain between the smilie and the film. A window will pop up that asks for the URL. Paste the image location you copied from facebook in there. The photo should show up with no problem.

Let me know if you want me to remove it so you can post it yourself.

THANK YOU!

Are these gone now? (Haven't been to Backlot Express in quite some time).

Wow, I don't even remember that stuff being there. I'm sure as a kid I didn't pay attention to the details. We walked by it, but didn't go in. Hoping that is still there!
