Sadly, it's a no for me. I am so excited for everyone who received pixie dust-filled emails. Good luck in round 3!

At least I will hopefully be going to WDW in both July and Nov 2015, so I will have a DisneyMP 2016 qualifying trip!

So sorry it's not your year. Like you said, you'll have your qualifying trip for next year.

Just checking in to say I made it to round 3 for the 1st time! Hugs to those who got their "maybe next year" emails.

I am so honored and humbled to be moving on to R3 for the 2nd year in a row.

Sending hugs and encouragement to my Disney friends, who did not advance this year. I have been a lurker on this board for many years. I have applied every year since 2009. I have been the chEARleader for many friends who have gone on to become great DPMPs over the years. Everything happens in due time. Do not give up on your dreams. We will all continue to do the work of the DPMP!

No again for me this year. I'm at my predicted stage where I am swearing off applying again next year. I'm pretty sure that by the end of my second trip next year that I will feel brave enough to reapply for like the 8th time. Until then...

I am a no once again. I plan to drink my way around the world when I am at Disney World in a few weeks to try to dampen the disappointment. I also plan on playing the sympathy card and making hubby buy me stuff while there to help ease the pain.

For those who did not make it, chin up! I have been there for 7 straight years. Every year it feels like a punch to the gut but It does get better as time goes on. Each and everyone of the panelists selected in the past deserved to be there and I have the upmost confidence in Disney and their selection process. Not to take away from anyone who made it to round 3 or is eventually selected, but I know that under different circumstances, any one of you that I have met here, on Twitter and on Facebook could have made it. We are all passionate "Disney Moms" in our own right. Not having the official title does not change that. Take pride that we have made it this far and hopefully one day our time will also come and the selection committee will recognize that special spark that we already know is there.

I will try again next year and plan on never giving up Just keep swimming!!

We are all passionate "Disney Moms" in our own right. Not having the official title does not change that. Take pride that we have made it this far and hopefully one day our time will also come and the selection committee will recognize that special spark that we already know is there.

Your words ring so true. We do the work of the Panelist every day, whether it be planning our vacations and helping out our friends, to overhearing someone mention "Disney" and starting up a chat with them.

I announced on Twitter this afternoon, but wanted to pop in and let you all know that I've advanced to R3!

While I'm very excited, my heart truly breaks for my friends who are stepping off the ride here. I got that "not this time" email last year after R3, so I know what a punch to the gut it is. Please be proud of your accomplishment. Even though they don't release numbers, we do know that TENS of thousands of people applied in R1. That's quite a feat!

So, I go to R3 with hope...especially hope of faring better in the phone interview than I did last year! Pushing on, gotta get through two more rounds. I'll let you know how it goes!

I'm excited to announce that I'm in Round 3 for WDW. The further I advance, the more I begin to think this could be real and it could really happen for me. I had made round 2 and am so afraid my submission somehow didn't go through because I didn't receive any type of email today.
Though I am extremely disappointed and sad I am still going to try next year and for those who have moved on to round 3- good luck!
