I just said to myself "self, just check to see if Lia started her new TR yet" cause I'm totally in the mood to read the stylings of Princess Lia while I'm here at work not wanting to work and would much rather be thinking about our trip in 59 days where we will be enjoying F&WF and a cruise as well...
And so I moseyed on over and there you are!!

LGA is like JFK's little disregarded sister or something, but when we don't fly out of Westchester, we fly out of LGA. In fact, in Nov, I got us a great deal on tickets flying OUT of Westchester but back into LGA. Seriously, $213RT. The one way from HPN to MCO was only $66.98! I couldn't believe it!

Anyway, just so happy you started again and can't wait to read, read, read before your trip coming up. Hopefully you get in a good amount of updates for your loyal followers/readers before your Hanson/F&W trip!

APRIL 7TH, 2014
Day 1, Part 2 In Which I Scare A Photopass Photographer​

Once we headed back to Aladdin & Jasmine’s meet and greet area, we were pleased to see that their line wasn’t very long yet at all and they were coming out in about 20 minutes, so that wasn’t bad.

This greeting area is very different from how it was in May 2013, the last time I met them there. They have decorated the place more since then and it looks awesome!

Line selfie! YAY WE ARE REUNITED AND MEETING SOME OF OUR FAVORITE CHARACTERS!

Aladdin and Jasmine were great.

They asked us the usual stuff, what kingdoms we were from and how we knew each other, etc. Aladdin said something about a magic lamp and I told him that I tried rubbing a bunch of the lamps in the queue and I didn’t get a single genie! He said that was because Abu had already come through before me and released all the genies. THANKS A LOT ABU.

In this one I am so happy I think my face muscles are about to explode.

I love the way they signed! So cute.

As we were on our way out, their Photopass Photographer noticed my shell necklace (it’s the necklace Ursula traps Ariel’s voice in and wears to seduce Eric) and side-eyed me. She then said very suspiciously, “I like your necklace. It looks like something Vanessa would wear…..” and then she kind of stepped away from me. It was SO hilarious. This is the difference between Disney World and everywhere else. Everywhere else, people say, "Oh my God, I love your necklace!" At Disney, people back away in fear. I love it.

Unfortunately, after we met them Jess had to go to school! She couldn’t miss any more classes this semester. It was kind of a bummer, but I love my solo time and we were gonna have a whole cruise together so it was fine! I had to walk all the way out to Brooke with her because I forgot my portable phone charger in the trunk and there was no way I would be able to get through the day not being able to contact anyone. So we trekked out to the parking lot quite unsure of where we parked Brooke, but we found her a lot quicker than usual, said our goodbyes, and back to Epcot I walked!

I took my time, took a lot of photos. It's so nice at the beginning of your trip when the whole adventure is in front of you and you are finally there after thinking about it so long. It doesn't even seem real yet in these early moments. I always find myself thinking, "I was home this morning, and now I'm HERE!!"

When I re-entered the park, the Security CM checking my bag asked me if I had just come from Typhoon Lagoon, I guess cause he noticed I was wearing a bikini top under my dress. NO actually, I came from New Jersey where we literally just had one of the craziest winters ever. If you're from up here, you know what I am talking about. To be able to even put a bikini on felt like some insane foreign concept. I didn't really mind the winter because so many good movies came out that I was thrilled to be inside all the time, but once I felt that sun on my face in Florida I was ready to BUST OUT!!

I got some Photopass pictures taken…

Shocking news guys: the Flower & Garden Festival has a TON of pretty flowers.

Then I had to take a #SpaceshipEarthSelfie (VERY IMPORTANT)

I want to turn this into a trend. Everyone stand in the mirror part of Spaceship Earth and take the #SpaceshipEarthSelfie!!! Let's go.

I went on Spaceship Earth next, and the CM working there was so impressed by my dress! She made such a big deal out of it and called her friend over to see it. I was flattered!

During every festival, whether it be Food & Wine or Flower & Garden, I always mean to get over to the "Festival Center", but I never had before this trip. I put that in quotes because I refuse to accept that Body Wars and Cranium Command are things of the past. It will forever be the Wonders of Life pavilion to my 12 year old self.

I decided to check that out next so I headed over there.

APRIL 7, 2014
Day 1, Part 3 In Which I Stuff My Face While Traveling The World!​

Once I got inside, it was very weird. I didn't remember it that much, but they've obviously changed a lot. I also expected it to be more lively in there. I thought there would be vendors and stuff going on. I had also heard about free samples of food which were not there. I'm sure there are times where things do go on, but it was pretty dead in there. I basically just looked at the merchandise, which was great.

For instance, GNOME DUFFY!! Sometimes I feel really thankful that I am not rich, because lord Jesus, the amount of adorable crap like this that would pollute my life would surely gain me a guest spot on the show Hoarders.

I honestly thought this next piece was genius. It's a lawn flamingo, but it's the specific one from Alice in Wonderland that they sit on while playing croquet.

I love merchandise like that, it's subtle cause not everyone will know what it is, but Disney fans couldn't miss it.

I bought one of the gift cards that goes around your wrist so you can easily walk around to the food booths without having to juggle a drink in one hand, food in the other, and somehow get your wallet out to make a purchase. I believe I got one with Donald on it. I still have my bracelet from last years Food & Wine, and can't wait to get it refilled for this years! AHH so excited.

That was a slightly disappointing experience, but worth seeing anyway. I think because I am so obsessed with all things Disney, even if something doesn't knock me off my socks, I feel like I needed to see it anyway... if that makes sense.

The next thing I did was Mission: Sinise. I figured it was wise to fly around space taking orders from Lt. Dan PRIOR to stuffing my face at the Flower & Food Fest. To avoid projectiles.

I chose the Orange Team because the Green Team is for nerds and squares.

I headed back to World Showcase next and continued my eating adventure.

I decided to go left and made my first stop in Germany. No, not for food yet, but to scope out the beauty of the CMs. I ended up being more impressed by this shirt.

Please notice Chip and Dale are flying out of that tuba. I can't.

I want fancy Disney statues all over my house.

Next I hit up Italy.

What a lady.

I loved this shirt. I was just all about the new merchandise.

America the Beautiful had me seeing my favorite Deputy!

But I still didn't get food... hold on it's coming!

I ATE IN MOROCCO! I really wanted to try what they had because I loved their selections from Food & Wine last year.

I got the Harissa Chicken Kebab with Couscous Salad.

@babybritney: Every single time I eat the food in morocco I'm like gimme gimme MORE

I sat down for awhile just to take in the sights and enjoy it. It was DELICIOUS. I always love Moroccan food, I really need to eat it more! I need to make a note to schedule in Spice Road Table for our upcoming trip. How I will do that when Food and Wine is going on is beyond me, omg.

My next stop on my Foodventure was France! WOO!

The beauty but a funny girl, miss Belle, was out greeting.

I really needed to keep the food momentum going though so I headed right into the Boulangerie. It was very hard to decide.

The two on the left I have had before and they were delicious, especially the mousse, which I HIGHLY recommend. However, I was in the mood for something more substantial so I ultimately went with the Ham & Cheese Croissant aka the Croissant Jambon Fromage - Ham, Cheese and Béchamel in a Croissant - $4.75

Holy mother of Walt Disney, this thing was so good that it was a JOKE! I could barely believe my tastebuds! One of the best things I’ve eaten at Disney or any other World!!!! Run do not walk to France and get this!!!!!!

Just to be clear… I loved it.

This lady knows what I'm talkin' about.

MAN! This was the trip that we ALMOST MANAGED TO MEET! Possbily even that first day? I have no idea...I totally heard you guys calling too, but when I couldn't see anyone I figured it was someone yelling "dad"....it sounds the same.... SAD DAYS!

LOVE the epcot dress, that's so cute! And lucky you guys getting to go straight into a park, not even stopping at a resort! Lol.

That drink will forever remind me of Tangled!!

Hi there! I'm a long time lurker...well not that long, maybe a couple of months. I started reading your last Halloween/Christmas TR & that led me to all your other TR's. I ended up "binge" reading them

You're so funny and cute and I love your enthusiasm for all things Disney! I am the same way and am raising my son to be a Disney fanatic too I also share your love of Hanson! Been a fan since I was 11 (I'm 28 now) and have seen them in concert many times. They are amazing! I was also lucky enough to see them in wdw once back in 2005 when I did the wdw CP. It was at House of Blues though, not at EPCOT. Sadly I have not been there when they played F&W. One day though!

Anyway, excited to read this new TR! It's off to a great start! I did a Disney cruise a loooooong time ago (I think I was 16) and loved it. It sounds like you had a great time too! Can't wait to read more

Yay! A new report. I am so glad that you are continuing to write these trip reports. I know it has become difficult for a few of my favorite writers to keep up with the disboards, what with LIFE getting in the way and all.... I miss them.

Anyhoo, I found myself literally biting my thumb nail as I began to read. I was so excited for more great stories and great writing and great pictures, and I was so disappointed when I got to the end of the entry. Gah! I can't wait for more!!!

I am also glad to know that you already have another trip lined up. So I get to follow you via social media. Sigh. Can't wait for my next trip - next summer for my nephew's high school graduation. (Florida. June. Hot. jeesh. can't wait. But really. I CAN'T WAIT despite all those things.)

Here Lia!! I haven't read many TR's about a Disney Cruise, but for sure I want to read this one. A Cruise has never been high on my list of to do's, but somehow I have a feeling that reading this will move it up the list. If anyone is going to make a Disney Cruise must do, it's you.

I can attest to how amazing it is to be in Disney on your actual birthday. A birthday trip is fabulous, but there is something extra special about being there on the actual day. Best Birthday Ever!

Oh wow I love the Aladdin loves Jasmine signature! So adorable! Hmmm, you'd think that Disney would want to capitalise on the Festival Centre... but its still cool that they have it open I guess . Another Hanson fan checking in here! I haven't seen them in concert since 2000. Got to meet them that year and also in 1998. Really thought I was going to marry one (Isaac was my first crush) but somehow it never happened. I am just going to miss them at F&W since we check in October 1st.
