Just got email saying our dates for May was approved will get to the KSC for the first time and for free. yah!
Quick question how does parking work since you have to pick up tickets at will call but it says you pay for parking upon entry?
thanks. You print out your confirmation info from your congressional office and give it to the parking attendant, explains you have a compensated pass that includes parking. That was my experience, anyway.
After finding this thread, I called our Congresswoman's Tour Coordinator and asked her about it. She took my information and emailed me back with this response. "We spoke yesterday on the phone about getting you and your family tickets to the Kennedy Space Center. Unfortunately, we are not able to retrieve tickets for you; our office in unable to fulfill that service."
So, I guess not everyone is eligible for it??? This was for California.

So for those who have toured the KSC--is it a good way to spend the day? Did you enjoy it?
We've done it twice, and we're likely to do it again, if our trips to that area allow us the time to do so.
It's a lot of bus riding around the property with not a whole lot to see, so some kids may find that part pretty boring. But, once you're back at the visitor area, there are a lot of things to see.
