Then I'll let you know if my "uninvited" FP works!

I wouldn't worry about it. December dates opened up yesterday, if Disney is going to leave the link active for anyone who finds how to use it, doesn't seem likely that they will turn people away. The lunch was wonderful, and the adult portions were huge; kids not so much.

I would appreciate that too, our's are for the 22nd.
So, what are you packing? We can't decide, shorts, pants....hoodies, heavier jackets. :confused3 Ugh!

EVERYTHING! :) I have fleece jackets for all, pants, long sleeves, short sleeves, hoodies, shorts - you name it, I brought it. I have a bit of an overpacking problem!

I like your point. They obviously know people without an invite are using the site. The numbers of people that show up versus the number they invite would tell them that. Will still update with how it goes tomorrow though!

LOL I like how you think. The only problem is now that the boys are over 6' their jeans are a little bigger than they used to be. :rotfl:

Have a wonderful time!

Did you have an invitation to BOG, Sunset? Just trying to get to the bottom of the rumor that they were not letting people without an official invitation in the FP+ line.
SO excited to try the pork myself!
Eat some desserts for me! See ya in a couple days!

We ate at BOG using FP+ without being invited on 10/30/13 and just had to scan the bands, no questions asked.

Hey there. Long time creeper, first time poster :P

I'm looking to do free dining for 2 adults. What are your opinions for dining and things for a 2 yo

:welcome::welcome::welcome:

Hi and welcome!!! Not sure what you are asking. Are you wondering about the best chances when free dining might become available??? Or are you curious about where to dine???:upsidedow Don't be shy, we love to talk Disney!:goodvibes

Alright peeps, let's help 'em out.:cheer2:

My number one place to eat with a two year old, is Garden Grill in Epcot. They only seat for dinner so make ADR's at 180 day mark. This place is great for first character visits as most at this age are reluctant of them getting too close. The seating is horseshoe shaped booths so a child can be a comfortable distance from characters and snuggled in between mom and dad. The seating is also situated so you don't see other diners and tends to be less noisy and chaotic. The restaurant also slowly rotates so you can see the different scenery of Living With the Land ride.:thumbsup2

Congrats on just getting married! If it is just the two of you for dinner, I would consider a resort restaurant. They tend to be better for a more quiet dinner. These are signature restaurants and count as 2 dining credits, but if you are looking for something special consider Narcoossee's in GF (my personal fave; overlooks seven seas lagoon), California Grill in CR and Artist Point in WL. Anybody want to help with in park or other resort suggestions??? Off the top of my head I am thinking Le Cellier??? Or BOG??? I know I am missing some...
Oh, there is also Citricos in the GF.

For dinner for two me and my wife went to yachtsman steakhouse and it was excellent. I had the porterhouse and it was best steak I've ever had, cut it with a fork melt in your mouth.

I heard that.

Let's see. For a two year old. Hmmm

Character experiences abound here. Everything from 1900 Park Fare, Cinderella's Royal Table and Chef Mickeys.

As for free dining, time will tell. Of course you've heard that Disney had one of the most successful years ever with a big increase in revenues. The future of promotions all depend on how rooms sell, along with competition factors such as the new Harry Potter opening and Universals new value resort. Sea World also had a big year as well.

I'm wondering as well if upgrading up to a deluxe dining plan is really worth it. My boyfriend isn't a huge Disney person so he really isn't into listening to the pros and cons.. but I'm thinking since it really is a lot of food, if it's really worth it.

It's a lot of money. It may be worth it if you plan to do a signature restaurant and a character/family style meal every day. Table dining does take up a lot of park time and it may be a lot of sitting for a two year old. We love the basic/plus dining plan and never feel like we missed something or left hungry. But this topic is always up for debate so you may hear many different opinions. : )

Thanks so much!!! I'm just trying to get a great experience. I want to take him to a character experience. And I'm really considering playhouse Disney dine and play at Hollywood and vine... opinions? And isn't this a two credit meal?

I just want to say that Pluto (Caralee) gave me one of the nicest compliments today. But aside from that, I wanted to let you all know that she has made quite the accomplishment. I'm not going to tell what that is, but she can if she wants. If she doesn't want to, I will just say that I am very proud of what she's done....and I think she has been so very helpful to folks on these threads, along with a lot of others who are helpful as well.

We've formed quite the little family here, and everyone continues to stick around. I've not been out in the open as much as I want, due to my off and on pain, along with some writing I've been doing lately. I will try to chat here a bit more, and perhaps in a couple weeks we can have some chat room visits since I'm off work all of Thanksgiving week.

Cheers all...and Pluto, share if you wish....:thumbsup2

As far as character meals, i can also recommend Chef Mickey if he is more outgoing, or Cape May Cafe for their character breakfast, which is a little more subdued. I've never done Hollywood and Vine, my kids just aren't into those characters, but I do believe it is just one dining credit. My sister's favorite character buffet's are Tusker House and Crystal Palace with Pooh and friends. It really just depends what you are looking for and what characters he likes. I am trying both of these this time. But you really can't go wrong with any. : )

Apparently the characters take the kids around the restaurants in a parade at both Tusker house and Crystal Palace. Chef Mickey will have you all swinging napkins. : ) I'd check out Youtube videos to get an idea of what you'd like. Actually, thats what i did! : ) its surprising how many things you can find on youTube.
Have fun, whichever you decide!
