Before my 2010 WBTA Disney Cruise I spent a week in Barcelona and had such an amazing time visiting all sorts of places and hanging out in various bars and restaurants, etc. So those of you who plan to check out the sites in Barcelona before the cruise what do you have planned or what do you want to see/do?

LOVE Barcelona. My absolute fave is Casa Batllo. Will be there again for sure, since we are staying a couple of blocks away. We are across from La Pedrera, so that will also be a redo. Other than that, we just like hanging out at the local eateries and relaxing in the pool!

All 3 flights booked; to Barcelona on Friday 5th, to Miami on 20th and back to Heathrow on 22nd-all for just under £300 each. Hotel on La Ramblas booked, Miami hotel booked and car parking at Heathrow

And even better the Magic is back cruising today

To Miami with American Airlines, Heathrow with Virgin Atlantic - using reward points only had to pay £85. We actually used the kid's reward points as they only had enough for 1 way flight so unlikely to use especially as they won't be flying VA for a while- both at Uni now.

Where are people staying? I loved the hotel where we stayed before but it seems to have skyrocketed in price.

Yes she is. She's had some family and personal issues but will be in touch with you. I know there will still be people joining and leaving probably close until the PIF dates. Everything's cool.

I'm totally pumped! My DH finally agreed to go with us so he is booked! And just found out my DB and DSiL want to come, too. Can't wait (altho I'm glad they have a few months to fix the current issues on the Magic).

Suites Avenue! Love it there! Expensive but worth it.

In 2010 my hotel was several blocks away from Casa Batllo and I took several strolls to check it out. I even did the tour which was amazing. I also thought La Pedrera was beautiful but I only looked at it from the outside so I definitely want to take a tour of the inside next time. Did you make it to Park Guell? That too is another Gaudi masterpiece but getting there was a little tricky, crowds where crazy and I didn't like the vendors. Nevertheless, I will probably go back.
