I know someone was asking about the blue H2O products before. When you come out of ToT at HS they have a stand in the shop with all the products.

Pamkat we had preferred viewing for the electrical parade and then wishes too last night, it was amazing :)

I was at Ulta the other night, and they had H2O Aquatics line products there. I saw the lotion and shower gel for sure.

What a great day yesterday. Went to HS for EMH. Drove the car and parked in the diamond preferred lot. So close and happy we drove. Did RnR, TOT, star tours, TSM, Pirates, Star tours again and left around 10 am. Great and not to bad heat wise. Had lunch out side disney the Went to SAB and left for ice cream at Beaches and Cream right as a storm started. So we beat the rush. Had the kitchen sink. All I can say is OMG. Decided around 6 to go to MK. Bus was great waited about 10 min. Bus was dedicated to BC and YC only. It was slightly raining so I think it keep many people out of MK on a Saturday night. We did people moved, SM, pirates. Saw the 9pm electrical parade from frontier land and it was the best seats I ever had. All performers and characters made eye contact with my kids it was great! Saw wishes by sleepy hollow. After wishes we decided not to get in the rush so we went on Aladdin. Saw on the DME app that splash was working again. It had been down most of the evening. We went over there and saw that BTMRR was also
Just opening again so we rode that first and finished up with splash. What a night! Walked on all rides after 10. We to bus during the 11 pm electrical parade there was no line and we got there just as a empty bus was leaving. Waited about 10 min got on bus and were back at BC @ 11:46.

It was in the rose garden, tinkerbell flew over our heads. It was an amazing night :)

MY DH, who hates crowds and waiting around, would find that acceptable. ;) He never wants to hang around for Wishes and has never seen it
.
Is this an area with seating, or was everyone standing? I have walked by the area a million times, but not sure exactly what is in there.

It wasn't crowded at all, there aren't any actual seats which I saw but people sat on the wall to watch. I would definitely recommend it.

Great question- I don't actually know the answer but I'll post this over on the Beach & Yacht Club FAQ to see if some of the BCV experts over there can give us an answer. Click on the link in my signature to get there.

Are you staying in a studio or one of the 1 BR or 2 BR villas?

Experts- do all room categories at BCV have DVD players?

Thanks

Yes to DVD Players in all rooms at BCV's Dee.

We were at MK we actually got stuck on splash when it broke, we were on there about twenty minutes before they sent two CM's to 'rescue' us! We had to climb off the boats and got to walk through the ride, it was quite fun having a behind the scenes tour! We saw where they keep the parade floats too then got given a FP for any ride at MK.
Sounds like you're having a great time.

Oh my, my boys would have loved that. Way to look at the glass half full! Have fun

I posted this question on the Restaurants board, but figured I'd get your opinions too...

We have FP+ reservation for Fantasmic during our stay. On the same day we have a 1:20 lunch ADR and one ToT FP+ reservation right before Fantasmic, so I'm thinking dinner will have to be after the show. I think Fantasmic should be over at about 8:30. Tricky, huh?

We have CMC reservations (both a breakfast and dinner) earlier in the stay, so I was thinking of doing something else. Recommendations? We're not on the DP so it would be at Swan and Dolphin too. I'm just concerned that most of the places I'm thinking of may be a bit too "adult" for my 4 yos and 6 yo.

Also, I wanted to thank Wood Nymph for the information on the stroller rental at the IG. Your response was in the last thread - so I didn't want to reply there. Thanks!! :goodvibes

Awesome! I'll have to check it out! Last time I was there they had H2O+ stuff but not any Aquatics (blue stuff).

We have a reservation for ohana at 5:05 this evening. What time should we leave BC with our own car?

I saw on another post that Disney has changed the boats at Pirates of the Carib and that people are now getting wet. For anyone that is there and done this ride, is this true?

I would leave 20 minutes to drive, 10 to park and walk over

So 4:30 ish?

Hi! I am finally going to post in here. Basically I have posted in the general forum about my decision between the Poly and YC. I have been to the Poly before and I really loved it. Being on the monorail was great and we didn't wait to long for buses either. When we went my then 8 year old daughter had swine flu. So she spent most of the time at the resort :( It was hard and really the whole Disney thing was geared toward her . She was so excited and wanted to eat at the royal table like no ones business.

We had ressies there but she was so sick during..that she didn't enjoy it. Anyhow we spent a lot of time in the resort due to my daughters high fever. I loved the quick service downstairs(don't know what it was called). We got a yummy lunch there and brought it back to our room(we did not have dining plan). We were able to use the pool which was nice but we don't really care about a resort's pool as much as some. As long as their is water , my kids are fine.

So this year we are going in Nov. I could not get the Poly for the time frame I want to go . I could get it the week before Thanksgiving. But because oldest is a junior in high school, I am nervous about her missing 5 days of school. If I go the week of Thanksgiving (11-22 -11-28) then she would only miss Friday , Mon, Tues and half day on Wed. With the bulk being during thanksgiving week where they don't do anything anyway.

So the resort that I can do that week at is YC. I have had people tell me to stay away from Thanksgiving week . I have had people tell me Yc is kind of stuffy(my kids are older though 16, 11 , 9) , rundown and the buses are horrible. . But then again, I have people tell me the YC is really nice and I will love it.

Soooo I am here to hear what is awesome on the YC. I am going to the experts!!! Please tell me why you love the YC. I have to make my decision before the weekend is over ....

Thank you so much! I am so excited to hear from you! I have looked at the pictures and thought it was beautiful..More my kind of resort ..even more than the Poly... so I am wondering are there some bad rooms that people are talking about?

I just got back from the World yesterday. I am 100% a Poly girl. Hubby talked me into staying at YC this time. We thought we would love it but my whole family was disappointed. If you truly love the Poly, I suggest you arrange your vacation time so that you can stay there. We ended up transferring after 2 nights at the YC because we weren't really happy. The pool was crazy, walking to our room was a pain (tons of twists and turns with no shortcuts), the Marketplace was a nightmare every time we walked in (and it was farrrr from our room), the convenience of walking to HS and Epcot wasn't as great as we hoped, the maids were yelling down the hallways at 7am, there was trash on our ugly rooftop view (a parking lot view at Poly is better than the hideous rooftop at YC), and we didn't find the resort magical feeling like the Poly. I know a lot of people here are cringing at my post because they love the YC/BC. It's different strokes for different folks though. As a Poly lover, YC doesn't measure up IMO. You may love it there though so give it a try. As the concierge told me, there are a lot of resorts in WDW because everyone has different tastes. They didn't take offense when we asked to change resorts. They were just happy to make us happy. I loved the YC staff. Good luck on your decision!

Captain's Grille at the Yacht Club. Quick (hopefully) boat ride over F! Probably won't be very crowded. Very casual. It was so good, we had two meals there during our 4 night stay in July.

If you wanted something light, their made to order clam chowder was out of this world!!! You could go with appetizers instead of entrees
