These are NOT the rooms that I paid for! 3 Resorts in 10 days - Trivia Answers 9/3

Sunday March 3, 2013: Day 9, Part 2
Following breakfast we took a few minutes to check the weather hey it had warmed up to 39 degrees!

Still cold for me!

DSC03620.jpg

We took some time to figure out what we wanted to do next& take a few photos& think some more.. . take some more photos. Do you see a trend here? Actually, we went into one of the Innoventions pavilions to warm up and then decided to head to The Seas to help find Nemo. I love the feeling of being in the Australian jet stream. Good job imagineers even if I can never get a photo.

DSC03624.jpg

After we disembarked we were hanging out by the aquariums when a friendly CM came over and started to chat and took this photo.

DSC03658.jpg

One last stop before we left The Seas&. We had to pose with Bruce. And by we I mean only me. Em said that she would take my photo but did I notice that I was in line with a bunch of kids waiting to have their parents take a photo? Yeah, I was the only adult having their kid take a photo. And Ive still got my dignity after that!

DSC03660.jpg

Since it had been a whole 60 minutes since wed eaten it was surely safe to take on our next adventures& Mission Space ORANGE experience. It was a 10 minute stand by wait, not bad at all.

DSC03670.jpg

DSC03671.jpg

I want to sit in there at one of those consoles and push buttons!
DSC03680.jpg

For this particular mission I was the pilot given the responsibility to engage second stage rockets and deploy the shields to protect us from the meteor storm over our Mars landing site. I held up under the pressure and successfully executed my duties as pilot. Not that anyone else in the capsule seemed to care since they didnt high five me or anything.

Em was the Commander:

DSC03691.jpg

Next up was Ellens Energy show since we were in the vicinity. I was fascinated with the electric or magnetic or whatever those track were. I wanted to watch the floor and see how the vehicles maneuver though the auditoriums. But the dinos were cool too.

Wed had enough fun times in FW so it was back to WS for us. Fiesta Donald was out and this time I did not give him a hard time about not wearing pants.

DSC03717.jpg

World Showcase Lagoon:
DSC03720.jpg

I have no idea what our plans were but it must have involved just walking and taking photos because I have about 40 photos of WS between Donald and our destination Morocco.

Sunday March 3, 2013: Day 9, Part 3

Em loves the Morocco pavilion and wanted to try Marrakesh for lunch. With no ADR and no wait it was a win-win.

DSC03760.jpg

DSC03768.jpg

Having never eaten here before I wasnt sure what to expect but between the live music, the belly dancer, the awesome server, and the wonderful food, it was an unexpected favorite of the trip that surprised me.

DSC03774.jpg

DSC03785.jpg

For the guys...sorry it's a poor representation of the live entertainment:
DSC03783.jpg

DSC03798.jpg

Not sure why they didn't give me a fez but I think it had to do with the birthday button!
DSC03799.jpg

I ordered the chicken kebab that was served with an olive salad and couscous. Yum! Em had the lemon chicken which she said was pretty tasty.

Bread service:

DSC03802.jpg

Our server delivered a baklava to our table complete with a trio of staff serenading her Happy Birthday and one of the guys thumping a drum. Nice touch!

DSC03807.jpg

When we exited we chatted with the hostesses. They posed for a few photos and gave us a website to find some authentic Moroccan recipes. When they learned that Em was doing a dining review for the Disboards they also handed over copies of the menus.

DSC03818.jpg

Following lunch we decided to do what most people do& take a walk to let the food settle.

DSC03822.jpg

DSC03826.jpg

DSC03832.jpg

DSC03845.jpg

Oh lookie there! Les Halles Bakery in France. Wed not been in there since they expanded and re-opened. Strictly out of curiosity we entered the bakery and purely for research we shuffled through the line and took some photos of the savory and sweet treats but then I beheld the glorious apple tart and had to get one to go of course. I encouraged Em to box up something as well even though it was unlikely that we would eat these anytime soon she picked out some type of turnover. I think I eventually took a few bites of the apple tart and it was wonderful.

Off to the UK to shop for a gift for a Diser. One note, it is hard to figure out what to buy someone who actually lives in the UK without the gift seeming to kitschy! We were meeting up with Wilma-Bride (Joh) and her hubby in Vegas in a couple weeks to celebrate her birthday and I thought it would be clever to bring something from Epcot since she's obviously a Disney fan being that shes one of the UK mods here on the Disboards.

We had dinner at Akershus last October and had the same exact Snow White and Ariel. I wonder if your "Belle" was a fill in for someone who called off sick!

Two Mickey waffles?! The nerve!

It's never fun to get the envelope of doom.

Oh wow only two waffles. That wouldn't do for us either. Not sure a plate of three was much better. Can't wait to have me some Mickey waffles. Have to try not to add this to my ever growing list. Seeing the park empty makes it hard to pass up.

Yeah, what were they thinking! Perhaps they didn't notice that I didn't partake too much in the buffet so I could make room for those little beauties!! :)

I know what you mean! At some point we just have to turn away and not look at the dining content otherwise our lists will never stop growing!

What a great night at BOG, even if the food was a little lackluster! I do enjoy the pork chop there, and people said the steak was good, baha. So great that they gave you a little personal tour!! Thats awesome!! The cupcakes are SO GOOD. Ive tried the Lemon and the strawberry and I could just eat them forever, YUM

Great meet with Ariel, and a lovely evening at MK!

Flos looks super cute! I really need to get myself back to DLR, and I want to stay on property! And see all of Carsland! I WANNA EAT AT BLUE BAYOU!!!!! UGH &also DLRs pirates is far superior&

Pretty!! Paige and I met that same friend of Belle earlier in the week in France! And I feel like a lot of the Belles are also friends with Jasmine. Theyre the ones that are allowed to be a little more tanned I feel&

That plate of Mickey waffles certainly looks empty! Thats so weird that theyd only give you two! It was cold enough INSIDE for them to all have their winter wear?! Like WHAT? This is California! Bahaa Okay, either you two are shorter than I thought, or the princesses were all on the TALL side today, Ariel looks almost giant next to you guys!! Oh my gosh an extra 30 minutes?! Ack, if I was full and couldnt eat any more that would just not be fun for me!

I definitely have my eye on an entree or two including that steak. I need to add more BoG cupcakes to my "tried 'em" list. They all looks so delish.

Agreed!! Pirates at DL is much better. ;) (And Space Mt. but I'm not here to cause trouble!)

Having a "tan" Belle double for Jasmine makes sense but you can never pull off Mulan being a different character. They have their limits.

Oh no you didn't!! :lmao: Yes, Em and I are what my daddy calls us - petite - 5' 2" thank you very much! Would have loved to be taller but apparently those prayers weren't answered!

When your update started out by saying it was 38 degrees, I immediately began wondering how bundled up you and Em were for this outing. Turns out, wasn't just you two but some of the princesses also had to bundle up. Which begs the question: why didn't Ariel or Snow White have a fancy cover for their outfit? :rotfl:
A bit stingy? :lmao:

Hmmm I can understand Snow White not being bundled up seeing as how she has "snow" in her name she can probably take the chill but that Ariel she must have been toughing it out. Good question.

ha ha ha!! Yes Dave they were stingy. :lmao:

Great review of Be Our Guest! Sorry you didn't think the food was all that great. I thought the lunch we had there was really good, so I am anxious to see what dinner is like when we go in December. Those desserts all look so good!

Love that picture of the monorail right outside your window. :)

Breakfast at Akershus sounds fun! I like how some of the princesses had their capes on. That's awesome!

Ugh, getting that envelope on your door for the ME is never fun.

Hi Sarah! I'm sure you will LOVE BoG!! Stay away from the potato leek soup. ;)

I do love the TPV because of that monorail sight.

The princesses were definitely in winter wear mode. That was a first for us seeing them like that. Even Jasmine the day before had a coat.

And CONGRATULATIONS on being post #1,000!!!!

We had dinner at Akershus last October and had the same exact Snow White and Ariel. I wonder if your "Belle" was a fill in for someone who called off sick!

Two Mickey waffles?! The nerve!

It's never fun to get the envelope of doom.

HI Annie! You're right they need a back up plan for those gals that are under the weather.

Yeah, only 2 waffles - what were they thinking?? :confused3

I love the way you put that.. envelope of doom. Well said!

Haha1 Haven't done Space in DL yet, there are definitely differences in all the rides and there are some there that I like better, and some at WDW that I like better!

Wow, I think those princesses were on the tall side then!! My Disney height is 5'3'' and I'm usually right on par with most princesses haha

Yay! Another good review on the bakery that I've read today, DEFINITELY will be checking that out next month!

I think Belle must have called in sick that day and Jasmine came in to do overtime. :rotfl2:

I have always wanted to try breakfast at Askerhaus. It looks like a lot of fun.

Speaking of food, I tried to do a walk in at Morocco in June, but they were already closed. Boo! I love the QS and your dishes look really yummy. Love that Em got the super duper birthday treatment!

It looks like a beautiful day, despite the fact that its freezing. We just had the longest winter on the East Coast so it must have been one of those weeks when the chill spread all the way south.

What a fun day you are both having. The empty Epcot looks so cool. I love that.

So sad its your last full day.

Oh no. I'm sad this was your last full day. I hope it won't be too long until your next TR.

The princesses look so cute in their winter clothing. I didn't even know they had gowns with long sleeves.

Your lunch at Restaurant Marrakesh looks delicious.

Love the pic with Fiesta Donald. He's one of our favorites.

Wow, so many updates to catch up on!

I'm glad to hear you enjoyed BOG, but I'm also somewhat relieved that the food didn't blow you away. Believe it or not, yesterday I was able to get an August ADR at BOG...and then I deleted it almost immediately. The menu just doesn't impress us, and your review makes me feel like I made the right decision.

I can still see why people enjoy dinner at BOG (it's the only meal that allows you to try the grey stuff, meet Beast, and consume alcohol in MK - plus it allows you to avoid the lines for lunch), but none of those factors matter much to me. :upsidedow

As for Marrakesh, it looks like you had a great meal there! It used to be our favorite restaurant in Epcot, but we haven't been back since 2008. I miss it, but it's somewhat hard to justify returning (since the prices keep rising and the seafood options are limited). At least Tangierine Cafe offers solid quick service nearby, and the new Moroccan TS restaurant should be open by the end of the year! :thumbsup2

Although this trip report's almost over, I'm so excited that August is around the corner for both of us. :goodvibes

OK, now it is indeed getting cold. Yowza.

See now this is why I don't use Magical Express. That's too depressing. "Hi there... almost time to leave!"

Oh my goodness, Em looks absolutely FROZEN in that MU photo. You on the other hand are working' it.

You know with a name like "Snow" she must just love this cool morning.

And Ariel with feet... No Bueno! :rotfl2: Just kidding of course.

Haha, it's so strange that we're either running inside to cool down or running inside to warm up. There has to be a happy medium somewhere.

No high fives??!! That's just rude.

"For the guys...sorry it's a poor representation of the live entertainment:"
Don't worry... I have lots of personal photos. ;)

OK, so you went to the UK to pick up a gift and... say... was that a cliffhanger? :rolleyes1

Exactly Katt about the ride/attraction differences between DL and WDW. Haunted Mansion wins at MK but BTMRR I like better at DL. Which reminds me of another point.... DL giving Carousel of Progress to MK to me is like giving your first born away - how could they part??

The more I check out that bakery the more my waistline expands. I need to say no at some point! ;)

I think Belle must have called in sick that day and Jasmine came in to do overtime. :rotfl2:

Speaking of food, I tried to do a walk in at Morocco in June, but they were already closed. Boo! I love the QS and your dishes look really yummy. Love that Em got the super duper birthday treatment!

Ha! I agree Mary Ellen. That's Jasmine in the photo disguised as Belle.

I still haven't tried the Morocco QS location but I hears good things. It was above and beyond to acknowledge Em's birthday since we didn't note it on any reservations she just wore her button. :flower3:

It looks like a beautiful day, despite the fact that its freezing. We just had the longest winter on the East Coast so it must have been one of those weeks when the chill spread all the way south.

What a fun day you are both having. The empty Epcot looks so cool. I love that.

Ahhhh so there is an explanation for the cold. We've been there before in winter so I was surprised it was so chilly. And it got colder yet...

Oh no. I'm sad this was your last full day. I hope it won't be too long until your next TR.

Hi Ashley! Our next trip is in less than 2 weeks so I can't be too sad about wrapping this up.

I'm glad we were able to see the winter version of their costumes. At least the capes and such.

Fiesta Donald needs to be cracking open piñatas with the kids (or sharing margaritas with the adults!) :p

Wow, so many updates to catch up on!

Hi Mr. DDW! Wow, I'm surprised with all they hype for BoG that there was an ADR available. It may have been the one I cancelled! J/K! There are definitely better entrees elsewhere even in Epcot! ;)

As for Marrakesh, it looks like you had a great meal there! It used to be our favorite restaurant in Epcot, but we haven't been back since 2008. Marrakesh was a complete surprise and I really liked it. Since it is so low key I know that it is likely we could swap other ADRs for a walk up here. Unless this best kept secret is getting more attention.

We're hoping to try the new Spice Road restaurant in December.

And YES, I'm super EXCITED about the next couple weeks!!!

OK, now it is indeed getting cold. Yowza.

Just wait until you see how cold is was on our last day!

See now this is why I don't use Magical Express. That's too depressing. "Hi there... almost time to leave!"
That is definitely the down side. Oh, and the we'll pick you up 3 hours before your flight and take you to 3 other resorts to pick up more people before we deliver you to the airport.

Oh my goodness, Em looks absolutely FROZEN in that MU photo. You on the other hand are working' it.

That pose was supposed to be my imitation of Mike. :p

You know with a name like "Snow" she must just love this cool morning.

Exactly!

And Ariel with feet... No Bueno! :rotfl2: Just kidding of course.

I don't think it's the fins so much about Ariel that captures your attention!! :lmao:

Haha, it's so strange that we're either running inside to cool down or running inside to warm up. There has to be a happy medium somewhere.

Good observation.

No high fives??!! That's just rude.

Shamefu!

"For the guys...sorry it's a poor representation of the live entertainment:"
Don't worry... I have lots of personal photos. ;)

What a shock!

OK, so you went to the UK to pick up a gift and... say... was that a cliffhanger? :rolleyes1

Uh oh, I didn't see the cliff hanger there... there really wasn't anything to tell since I forgot that I ended up shopping for her in Vegas. But since you asked. Here's some of the loot from the UK store (minus the Godiva)

WOW I just joined in and I am loving it. After watching the yacht club reveal I just had to take a break and just say how happy I am that you got upgraded. So magical!pixiedust:

One of the worst things in the world, seeing that tag on your door handle. :( And seeing it when it's that cold in Florida!

Wow Belle, did you go to the beach in France? My mom is usually so appalled by some of the princesses but this one would take the cake for her. Mickey waffles in akershaus?! Totally jealous!! I really should give that place another try. The servers are so nice there.

That pic of you & Em by the aquariums is so cute! I love your coat & jacket. I always want to take a photo with Bruce! If you can do it, I can too. After all, we wait in lines full of children all the time to meet characters, right? Good photo!

You are much braver than me, I have never been to mission. I mean, I've seen the outside but that's as close as I'm going to get. :) yes, I'm a chicken.

Fiesta donald is so cute! He always makes me laugh.

Marrakesh looks so fun! I'm not too adventurous when it comes to food but I think I could do lemon chicken. One day we will get there. Great pictures of the pavilion!! It's definitely underrated.

I always have to get a cookie in France. Those apple tarts look so good though. As did everything else in the case. Oh France, you really know how to hook them!

I agree about Belle. She would have been a beautiful Jasmine, but she was not a friend of Belle's.

The pictures of the bakery in France look so delicious. I will take one of each.

DH and I have tried the CT in Morocco several times, but never the TS. After seeing your pictures we might need to try it our next trip.

Hey Brenda !

I had sooooo much to catch up on

I loved the updates from DL, it's great that Michael and Em cold join you whilst you were working, gosh I really want to head back to DL!

We're excited to try BOG, even if the food isn't that amazing, I just want to see Beast!

Lovely photos from Epcot, especially love your comment about your "princess hand"! :)

I don't think it's the fins so much about Ariel that captures your attention!!

You're right... It's probably the red hair. I can see myself getting into it with Mayor Weaver at some point. :rolleyes1

Uh oh, I didn't see the cliff hanger there... there really wasn't anything to tell since I forgot that I ended up shopping for her in Vegas. But since you asked. Here's some of the loot from the UK store (minus the Godiva)

DSC04736.jpg

Haha, well I guess you showed me... Darnit. :p

Sorry the meal at BOG was disappointing, but WOW!!! What a gorgeous restaurant! I am so glad the two of you got a "private tour" and shared it with all of us. How special.

Confession- I am not really a cupcake lover, but those looked YUM!

The rest of your night at MK sounded like a lot of fun. A mermaid meeting, some haunts, and a sweet bear.

WOW I just joined in and I am loving it. After watching the yacht club reveal I just had to take a break and just say how happy I am that you got upgraded. So magical!pixiedust:

Hi there and thank you so much for joining! :goodvibes That upgrade it a not to be repeated in my lifetime event! We were very blessed! :)

I see you have a trip coming up soon too! Exciting stuff.

One of the worst things in the world, seeing that tag on your door handle. :( And seeing it when it's that cold in Florida!

Yeah - insert frowny face!

Wow Belle, did you go to the beach in France? My mom is usually so appalled by some of the princesses but this one would take the cake for her. Mickey waffles in akershaus?! Totally jealous!! I really should give that place another try. The servers are so nice there.

Ha ha! Yes, Belle was at the tanning salon! Oh no, a bad experience before? The waffles and the cheesy potatoes are worth it for me.

That pic of you & Em by the aquariums is so cute! I love your coat & jacket. I always want to take a photo with Bruce! If you can do it, I can too. After all, we wait in lines full of children all the time to meet characters, right? Good photo!

You definitely need to get in that line. Bruce doesn't bite! :p

You are much braver than me, I have never been to mission. I mean, I've seen the outside but that's as close as I'm going to get. :) yes, I'm a chicken.

No worries, you can sit that one out and I won't judge you! Michael only does the green experience but he's getting to the point that he'll probably wait it out in the lab at the end.

Fiesta donald is so cute! He always makes me laugh.

:)

Marrakesh looks so fun! I'm not too adventurous when it comes to food but I think I could do lemon chicken. One day we will get there. Great pictures of the pavilion!! It's definitely underrated.

I wasn't adventuresome since this was our first visit but what I ordered was very tasty and a great "starter" dish. It was a surprise favorite of the trip.

I always have to get a cookie in France. Those apple tarts look so good though. As did everything else in the case. Oh France, you really know how to hook them!

I definitely need to walk into less bakeries! I can't say no! :upsidedow

We'll be in touch but I wish you safe travels!! :goodvibes

I agree, Belle would have made (or IS) a great Jasmine! I'll have to look back as some of my Jasmine photos to see if I recognize her!

See? You know what I mean about all that deliciousness at the bakery. I could make it a daily routine!

Linda, I'm so glad to see you here and caught up!! :flower3: I hope all is well.

You'll charm the Beast I'm certain. I hope it lives up to expectations.

Ha ha! Perhaps I need some white gloves to properly pull off that princess hand look.

Haha, well I guess you showed me... Darnit. :p

Rob you're funny! Finned Ariel does show her belly so she has that going for her in addition to a nice collection of clam shell bikini tops!! :rotfl:

See? I take photos of everything... I can even document what the inside of a ladies washroom looks like. Oh, wait, so can you! :lmao:

Sorry the meal at BOG was disappointing, but WOW!!! What a gorgeous restaurant! I am so glad the two of you got a "private tour" and shared it with all of us. How special.

Confession- I am not really a cupcake lover, but those looked YUM!

The rest of your night at MK sounded like a lot of fun. A mermaid meeting, some haunts, and a sweet bear.

Hi Dee! Heck, everything else about BoG was better than expected so what's a little mediocre food? :)

Oh the shock!! Not a cupcake lover?? Please tell me you at least like cookies or pie or something sweet. The two things that stick in my mind right now for what you like.... or what you've eaten at WDW is morning coffee (even if iced is not your preference) and sushi from the CS at the Japan pavilion Epcot. Not sure why but I recall those from your chaperone trip!

Sunday March 3, 2013: Day 9, Part 4

While we were there in the UK, we posed with Pooh and Tigger. They seemed to have matching “he he” expressions. Maybe they knew something that we didn’t…. can’t be sure since they never said anything.

DSC03923.jpg

Another pose - this one from my photopass:
Photo0196FourBySix.jpg

Since we’d pretty much exhausted all that we wanted to do at Epcot, we decided to hop over to DHS. We took the Friendship boat from Epcot for the first time. Typically we walk so we must have had a case of the lazies.

Over at the Studios, there was a 90 minute stand by wait for TSM… so that wasn’t happening.

I'll pass:
DSC03958.jpg

DSC03960.jpg

But wait! Buzz and Woody were accepting guests at their Picture Shootin’ Corral across the way. After a 40 minute horrendous wait that involved 3 different groups of children throwing themselves on the floor having screaming fits and bumping into us every 4 feet we made it to Buzz and Woody. Em would have bailed long ago but I was determined to get at least one photo with these guys since we’d never seen them here so I tormented her by making her wait with me. Finally!! We were at the front of the line but apparently to the kids behind us that didn’t matter since they ran ahead of us to hug Buzz and Woody. What are we going to do at that point – yell at them? We’ll leave that to their parents to do…. Yeah…. I’m STILL waiting for them to say anything to their kids. Good thing the character handler stepped in and restored order since she politely told the children that they needed to wait their turn.

Refer to Rule #2 please!!
DSC03961.jpg

Photo0206FourBySix.jpg

In actuality, after that long of a wait our enthusiasm had waned a bit…..can you tell? I asked Buzz if we could do his “to infinity and beyond” pose. He didn’t say no, but by his body language I can tell that he wasn’t really into it. I mean come on dude, hold your arm UP! We must have been guest number 599 for them since they just kept going back to the same poses.

Poor Woody! He's probably thinking, hey lady, that's not my pose so I'll do my own thing!
DSC03989.jpg

Next stop, Animation Courtyard where there were even more lines for characters. Lucky for us the line for The Incredibles was fairly short. I joked with Mr. Incredible that he beat my husband arm wrestling last year so he can’t show his face around these parts any longer – the shame is too much!

Frozone tried to pose us and Em complied. However, I nixed the idea of the karate kid crane kick pose for myself (uhhh not sure I can hold that pose and not look like a dork!) I told Frozone that I prefer his defending the Universe pose. He completely approved. (I even have to admit to myself that I see a pattern here…. I’m posing the characters, they are not posing me. Such a control freak!)

Ha ha! It looks like I'm sitting on Frozone's leg... I'm definitely not.
Photo0211FourBySix.jpg

Since we were in the Anamation Courtyard we opted to watch the next showing of Voyage of the Little Mermaid. That Ariel and Eric and their fake kiss at the end! They can’t fool me.

By now folks it was getting late in the afternoon and we needed some down time before our dinner. But first… One last hat photo.

DSC04016.jpg

And last but not least, I had to say a proper good-by to my guy Bo! I was happy to pose with Bo. But then I was sad…. Because I wasn’t sure when I’d see him again. He still had that silly grin on his face so he must have known something that I didn’t!

DSC04025.jpg

We bussed it back to BLT and had a few hours before we had dinner. From the absence of photos I can only surmise that I dozed off or just chilled in the living room watching TV. Nothing noteworthy there so moving on….

Sunday March 3, 2013: Day 9, Part 5

We had a 7:30 dinner reservation at Narcoosees at the Grand Floridian. We arrived and figured out how to get to the pavilion on the lagoon. Em didnt have a sweater or jacket and it was REALLY cold and windy so I worried about her. She kept saying she was fine. The mom in me doesnt let go!

The waiting area is rather small but the trade-off is that the open kitchen is right there so it is entertaining. We were seated at a nice little table for two tucked close to the ones on either side of us. I let Em take the seat with the view of the lagoon. (See, another mom thing!)

We were started with a basket of bread which I dont recall being anything other than ordinary or maybe I just passed& ahhh who am I kidding, Im sure I had a slice.

I wasnt that excited with the menu options; however, I decided to try something similar to what another Diser had ordered last summer and enjoyed. (DonaldDoleWhip from this dining review here .) I ordered the vegetarian option which was House Made Mushroom, Spinach, and Cheese Ravioli. Em opted for a complete carnivore delight with the Grilled Black Angus New York Strip Steak. It was served with bonaito whipped potatoes. The server explained that the bonaito version was a little on the sweet side so if Em preferred they could do a mix of bonaito and russet mashed potatoes which she agreed would be fine.

We timed placing our order nicely because they turned the lights down and queued the music as Wishes started when the server left our table. We could see very nicely from the window across the way until&. A woman holding her small child and a friend stood at the window of a recently vacated table. My options were to view the smattering of higher up fireworks that I could still see or go outside and brave the chilly temps. I opted to stay inside where it was nice and warm and where I could keep an eye on my child. You know how she acts up!

Our entrees were delivered and I was quite happy to see Ems NY Strip Steak looked amazing as did the boniato whipped mashed potatoes. As for my veggie dish&.. it didnt look at all like Mr. DonaldDoleWhips but despite being a watery limp mess, it wasnt entirely disgusting.

I passed on dessert yet was hoping that Em wouldnt order anything chocolatey so I could still sneak a taste. Darn if she didnt order the Baked Chocolate Mousse! (If I havent shared here yet, Im not a fan of chocolate especially anything that is only chocolate or dark chocolate.)

Again, our timing was impeccable since once the dessert order was placed, the Electric Water Pageant passed by the restaurant. Since it has the calliope transitioning to patriotic soundtrack I wanted to capture it on video so I went out on the waterfront verandah. It was COLD!! But I toughed it out and got my video.

Em's Chocolate Mousse Dessert:
DSC04125.jpg

Em liked her chocolate mousse dessert& Ill take her word for it that it was delicious. One last photo of us for the evening and thus concluded our last dinner at WDW!

I know Narcoosees has its fans and given a different entrée choice I may yet become one but it was nice without leaving me with an I must return desire. Perhaps the thought of paying $32 for a few veggie raviolis on my plate is really my problem. For the prices and being a Signature restaurant I really didnt feel anything special was offered there. Again, it probably comes down to entrée choice but still! ;)

We caught the monorail back to the hotel. The sad task of packing our bags began. But first I had to get rid of a cupcake that wouldnt survive the trip back to CA with us. I saved it from itself! (I can't recall where it came from.... likely Whispering Canyon Café the day before. And yes, I'm sure I asked Em if she wanted that stale, day old, not to compete with her chocolate mousse dessert she just had cupcake.... gotta tip the scales in my favor you know!)

Darn cupcake obsession!

Oops! I got behind by a post.
Aww man, that envelop on the door is never a fun thing to wake up to.
38 degrees? Wow, that's cold! Way too cold for Disney World!
What a beautiful sight, an empty Epcot in the morning!
Looks like a wonderful breakfast at Akershus, but seriously, two waffles?? That's not enough for anybody!
We ate at Marrakesh for dinner once, we loved it, an unexpected favourite of our trip too! (I think we had the same two dishes!)
Adorable pics with Pooh and Tigger, and I really love the Incredibles pic! I really want to meet Mr. Incredible! Buzz & Woody's Picture Shootin' Corral is adorable, I've never seen the place before! Gotta love when parents just let their kids but right in front of a line :crazy2: glad the CM was willing to try to control them at least!
Hmmm, I hate to say it but your meal at Narcoosee's doesn't look all that appealing, especially for $32. We've looked into that restaurant many times, and we never see anything on the menu that makes us want to go. Some day I'll try a fancy restaurant in WDW!
Glad you had a cupcake to ease the pain of packing to go home. :upsidedow
