Has the past month been stressful!!

Between my computer crashing and loosing all of my personalized FE'S info and all the other planning im over stressed!! haha

Alright these people still need to tell me there Favorite characters so here goes nothing!

Well I know where everyone is coming from with the stressful months. After getting into the accident with my truck at the end of July and waiting 3.5 weeks for them to decide to write it off then picking up my car on a Saturday in the middle of a 7 days of work stretch I am now just 15 minutes from the end of my 9th day of 12 days straight. I only had two days off between the 7 days straight and this 12 straight stretch and to make everything more stressful we are hosting a COPC tournament (a poker tournament for those not in the know) with huge buy-ins that we in surveillance need to verify constantly (I'm lucky if I go 5 min between calls from poker) oh and one other minor thing both my boss - the lead surveillance investigator - and my boss' boss - the security manager - were out of town all week so yours truly was both acting security manager and acting lead surveillance investigator all week. Oh and on my first day off (Wednesday which I'm practically counting the minutes to) I have a dentist appointment to have 3 fillings replaced and if that's done in about an hour I have to go BACK TO WORK for a 3 hour meeting. I can't decide if I'm hoping for a short dentist appointment or a long one.

Everyone join me now "We're going on a cruise next month!!!" It can't come soon enough for me!

This cruise is much deserved. Don't worry we won't ask anything of you during the cruise and we will not ask you to surveil anything. Is that a word? Just think no casino!

I am sure some one had thought of this before, but I wanted to share my fish extender. We are on a tiny budget, so I could not buy one of those way cute ones from Esty or ebay. =( So I decided to make my own, my sewing skills get me by, but after our move haven't had the time to set up shop. I was a little nervous about doing no sew,so I was wandering around Walmart looking for inspiration... Not the best place to seek it, BUT I did located it! I decided to make my fish extender from binder pencil bags! I spotted 1 pirate bag then bought 3 clear pocket ones. I will say I think it turned out way cute. Not bad for a total cost of $6.00, and about 1 hour of time! I attachted the bags with ribbon via a beadazzler and hot glue. For the pictures we have a black & white printer... Which adds some difficulty to projects. I used word and typed out the child's name,then added clip art from the web. The pockets hold a half sheet of paper. I printed then colored and glittered the picture folded the paper in half and taped it into the pencil pouch. Easy-peasy! I hope this idea helps those of us on a budget without extra sewing skills or time. Also you can use it for multiple cruise and just change out the photos! We received our docs in the the mail yesterday!!!! One was almost destroyed by the USPS but we got them!!!

We are done with our fe's, yeah! Our documents went to the travel agent, bummer! Starting to pack, after a year and half can't believe it is almost here!

Door signs for both sets of friends traveling with us are done. Now to get started on the sign for our stateroom!

I know my family will enjoy today off, they literally "blew it out of the water" with our 50th Anniversary reception yesterday.

Back to the grind tomorrow and work 4 days then off on a trip to DC on 10th, then back for a couple of weeks then "SAILING THE OCEAN BLUE"! Can't wait!

4 weeks today and we will be arriving in sunny Orlando (it had better be sunny!). 3 weeks and 6 days until I REALLY start to panic about doing FE gifts!!
