Morning guys from the peanut gallery.

CJ, glad to see you made it back in one piece and the house is still standing. I heard there were some raucous parties in the Miami area last week. Not sure if that was related or not. :lmao:

Congrats to Stopher (again) on closing out another thread.

As for me, I'm going to be even less active on here over the next month or so as I'm entering the final prep for my CFP exam in March. Still got half the material to review and a live prep class next week. I've heard that the exam is brutal (2 days, 10 hours of testing) but I'm hopeful that the prep class will help me so that I don't have to do it twice.

Peanut Gallery Ownage.

So was anything particularly noteworthy said at the end of the last DDC thread or was it the usual sprint to the finish? I'd rather not spend all morning trying to catch up on "Last!" posts.

sorry server keeps doing crazy things on my end this am. been trying to edit the double post for 10 mins now. :cool1: :scared1:

No worries. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't crazier than I normally am. :thumbsup2

Actually, we weren't quite in race-mode yet, so there were things being discussed, and relatively few pics posted.

I just figured you were going on strike from the Dis until the Blackhawks win another game!:sad1:

Then it looks like I've got some reading to do during lunch today! It's raining so I don't want to leave the building anyway.

I'm surprised Norm hasn't posted yet. It's not like him to not be in by the 10th page...

Also, Patrick hasn't been on in a while...the only time I get a chance to see what he's up to is on here or on facebook...

:headache: Yeah, not funny. Besides if I waited for that I may miss 10 - 15 threads. :headache:

Not trying to take a shot at you. I'm a Chicago boy as well. Remember the good ol' days of just a month ago when we were one of the best teams in Hockey? At least we've got the Cubs to look forward to - in a few years when they're actually good.

So last week I featured several different trips on my FB page, two for American National Parks, and one to Antarctica. Earlier this week 2 different people bit regarding the National Parks, and so I'm putting together plans for them - and this morning... I had an email requesting a quote & more info on the Antarctica trek. :cool1: Ooooh, I'm so hoping I can get them to go for that one... that's a $16K per person trek, and they're talking 4 people. At 16% commission... not too shabby, if I can secure it.

You were close... but hey, I can't help that 4am comes awfully early each morning. :rolleyes1 I wasn't the one who had to go to bed. popcorn:: So it was carpe diem, and the mods just happened to be in my favor last night. pirate: It was fairly quiet for a few moments, and then Barry came on to post one or two last words, and BOOM, it was done. I was trying to post another picture when I got the "this thread is closed" message. Wasn't even sure who got the last post in til I checked.

Sure!

And how is it that you can get one last post in AFTER the Mod shut it down?
