Are the performers there every night? In October? I've gotten conflicting info. Thanks!! :)
I want to know too. I read somewhere it's only around the weekends... but then called the resort # and was told every night from 6pm-10pm. Going in September when crowds are lower so I hope the entertainers are still there! Caught a few of them last year -- were great!

Where's the best place to get a beer or mixed drink? Prefer to buy and carry it on the boardwalk (to watch entertainers or people watch) or back to our room (after DS is asleep). We just want drinks, no food. Any favorite drinks? Thanks for all your help!

  • Walk to gas station across the street and keep some in our fridge.
  • Big River Grille -- Sit at table outside?
  • ESPN Zone
  • Boardwalk Joes? (I'm guessing this is just expensive bottled beer, I like draft)
  • Leaping Horse Libations
  • Marthas Vineyard Lounge at Beach Club
  • Crew's Cup Lounge at Yacht Club
  • Belle Vue Room Lounge at Boardwalk Inn

I will. It will be a busy, long weekend for us, but is there anything i can look up for anyone, while we are there?

Have a great trip!!! I'd love to know what's on the activities schedule for the resort -- I know about the boardwalk games and entertainers... but I'm curious if they have any other special activities at the resort, the pool, or I heard there are outdoor movies/campfire? at the Beach Club.

I wasn't planning on park hopping but was reconsidering so we could take a quick walk over to Epcot and grab a drink and hear some evening entertainment when not at MK (waterparks, AK, and HS close early most nights at 5 or 7). But if there's enough fun to be had at the resort, we will just stay there those evenings and not bother with Epcot. We have 2 days out of 8 already planned for Epcot.

The boardwalk seems like a great resort. We always loved the boardwalk at Ocean City, MD and Cape May, NJ (smaller), and Wildwood, NJ during the 60s, 70s, and 80s -- our family went there every year many times.

Hopefully I can remember to pick that up. Do you need it soon? Do you need me to post while I am there or after I get back? I will be back June 1st.

Another Polynesian lover who is defecting for this trip. Please let us know what you think Mamu. My husband and I have had the pleasure of staying at BWI in the past, but this will be our kids' first stay at this resort.

I hope you have a terrific trip. :yay:
