Flowers and Firsts - A May 2010 PTR, 5/13 TR started! Link on pg 39

I know, it's hard to go in October with school isn't it? The week we went the kids had 3 days off already for parent/teacher conferences and fall break, we just took them out for the other two. Don't you guys have some kind of rule though that prevents you from taking off right before or after a break? I'm pretty sure my SIL, who is also a teacher, has complained about that before.

Yep, we have that rule, too, which makes no sense to me.

Hi Michelle, sorry I've been MIA. What a great flashback!! October is when we want to go next and we also want to stay at CBR so this is right up my alley! :) What gorgeous pictures! The boys look so little!

Ok I am all caught up now. :woohoo:
Your plans look marvelous....you & your Mom will love the Segways!!!! Can't wait to hear all about your dessert party too.
I have to say I loved, loved, loved your scrapbook pages & finding out about your early trips to Disney.
I hope you & your Mom have the best time. Have an adult beverage for me :drink1:!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's stupid :sad2:

Hey Kelli! October is a great time to go - the weather was almost perfect during our trip, and we really enjoyed CBR too. If you stay there, request Jamaica or Aruba - they are just a stroll across the bridge to the food court, gift shop & main pool :thumbsup2

I remember from your ABD TR that you are a scrapbooker too! Too bad we don't live closer, we could do it together.

I'll definitely have an adult beverage or two or three..........

October trip continued.......

Justin got to be a Jr Cast Member and ring up our order for our ride photo on RnRC, he got a certificate and everything!

Had lunch at Sci-Fi where we had the most impersonal & slow waitress! I don't think she ever once smiled and she spoke in the same monotone voice the entire time and just looked at you like you were bothering her if you asked for anything - yeah, she was a joy!

100_2649.jpg

We told all the boys to salute for this picture - I don't think Jared quite understood, he looks like he's hiding his eyes from the sun or something!

We ate dinner that night in the food court and let the kids swim while we relaxed with a few cocktails - it was a great evening!

October 19th:

We got up early and went to EMHs at MK

Saw the tutorial for the first time. The boys had a spot right up front, but none of them got picked.

We took a break in the afternoon and my friend and I went to DTD to do a bit of shopping while the boys relaxed and swam.

Dinner that night was at Coral Reef, we all enjoyed our meal here, but the service was soooooooo slow!

Jared loved the 'create your own sundae' he had for dessert!

We once again had tons of fun with Goofy!

We left the AK in order to play some mini golf at Winter/Summerland (Winter side)

Then it was time for another dip in the pool

100_2739.jpg

This was our first time going to WDW when it wasn't during the 'busy' season - we were amazed by how much we got done at the parks in such a short amount of time, giving us much more leisure time by the pool.

Dinner was at Kona - yum! It was really good!

October 21st - departure day:

Our friends got up and left very early in the morning, we had a couple of hours to kill before our ME pick up though, so we headed to the MK for a bit

All too soon it was time to go home! And thus ended another amazing WDW trip, where I drank more of the Kool-Aid and came home plotting when my next trip might be!

Wow! Seems like you have certainly had some wonderful family memories!!! I enjoyed seeing them all! :goodvibes Can't wait to see the next chapter, which starts in THREE days!!??!! Or is it TWO??!! YAY!!! :yay:

Awww, thanks for sharing your memories with us, Michelle. Your boys have changed so much in just two years time! :)

What is it with that kool-aid? ;)-------------You're getting very close! :)

My theory is that it's not in the Kool-aid, but in the music they pipe everywhere -- lots of subliminal messages about coming back to Disney! :lmao:

Can you believe you will be there in two short days??? :yay:

I think you may be onto something there.

Unfortunately, I play right into their hands, as I am often found listening to Disney music playing in the background as I am working on school work or doing chores around the house. The whole time I am dusting, I am sure there are 'invisible' words floating through the air calling me back to the magic.
It probably goes something like this:
There's a great big beautiful tomorrow with no dusting, scrubbing, or grading papers in Disney World.
Shining at the end of every day where we'll cook your meals and clean up the mess in Disney World.
There's a great big beautiful tomorrow and another fabulous trip is just a phone call away!

Hope you have a fabulous time! Save us some good weather and plenty of sunshine! :cool2:

So close! So close! So close!!!! :yay::yay::yay: You leave tomorrow! Have a wonderful time, take lots of pictures, eat lots of Mickey Bars! ;) Seriously, I hope you and your mom have a super time and enjoy your time together!

Just in case I don't get a chance to get on tonight, have a great trip! Take lots of pictures so you can come back and post a trip report.

Just one day now!!! :woohoo: :woohoo:

Well, that was October 2006, so really 3 1/2 years, but still they do change a lot in a short amount of time.

Disney knows how to reel you in that's for sure!

You might be onto something Jackie! It's brainwashing at it's finest :thumbsup2

I think that you can count down by hours now!:woohoo::yay:

Less than 24 hours!!!! :yay:

I love it MeMom!

The forecast looks plenty warm that is for sure. I'm not sure which site to believe, one of them shows a chance for rain starting midweek and lasting through to the end, the other just shows a slight chance on one day. I'm hoping for the later!

Your trip will be here before you know it too!

That MeMom is quite the clever one isn't she :thumbsup2

:lmao::rotfl::rotfl2: That's so true!!! I just know it!!!

Yep, gotta be some truth to it!

I think this is playing while I'm sleeping....

I think it plays all day and all night for you........

So close! So close! So close!!!! :yay::yay::yay: You leave tomorrow! Have a wonderful time, take lots of pictures, eat lots of Mickey Bars! ;) Seriously, I hope you and your mom have a super time and enjoy your time together!

Oh, you know I'll take lots of pictures - it's what I do! :lmao: I may have to limit myself to one Mickey Bar though, there are too many other treats I want to try!

Just in case I don't get a chance to get on tonight, have a great trip! Take lots of pictures so you can come back and post a trip report.

Thanks! I most definitely will take lots of pictures :thumbsup2

It's almost time!!!! I talked to Mom this morning and I couldn't tell if she was excited or stressed - I'm going to go with excited

I'm in pretty good shape. Printed our boarding passes this morning. Got the fridge cleaned out last night, and restocked it for the boys this morning. I also went to the bank and got the cash I need for the trip. Bills are paid, checking account is balanced. I'm in good shape on the packing front, everything is ready to go except for what I will need tonight and in the morning. Clothes for tomorrow are ironed and ready, paperwork is all in order, I just need for time to go a bit faster now!

Really, I do still have a few things to do. I'm washing and changing sheets on all the beds right now, and I need to clean the bathrooms and vacumn, both boys have baseball games tonight (in different places of course!) so I'll have to wash baseball pants when they get home, but other than that - I'M READY!!!!

Well, of course it was......................Believe it or not, I teach math! :lmao:

Seriously though, for some reason I had 2008 in my mind---don't know why----2006 is stamped on most your pictures!

*OH WELL! *

I hope you have a wonderful and safe trip with your mom. I can't wait to see some beautiful pictures and hear some details! :)
