If ordering a counter service breakfast at Beachclub Marketplace, is a side item part of the meal, or just egg-croissant sandwich and 2 drinks?

On the DDP, you get a breakfast sandwich, juice and beverage (coffee, tea, milk, or soft drink). If you're paying OOP, they don't offer a meal deal. Everything is a la carte.

We liked the YC best! The whole Boardwalk area is awesome. There's so much to do and you have so many choices in terms of food. Epcot was a 5 min walk (and we were at the furthest point from Epcot!). One morning we walked over to Boardwalk Bakery, grabbed coffee and croissants, and then strolled over to Epcot for rope drop. SAB is an amazing pool but that wasn't even the biggest selling point for us. Poly seems convenient because of the monorail but you're still dependent on transportation. At YC you have all of these choices within walking distance!!!

Did you ever stroll over to the Dolphin for food/meals? We are thinking of trying out Picabu's for breakfast and dinner while on our trip for a few counter service meals. Also--did you see the continental breakfast at Ale&Compass? Do they offer real coffee or just the nescrapfee? I loved being able to get real coffee at both Poly and CR. Worth the cost but I don't want a long walk for it every morning, you know? I usually feed the kids breakfast in the room from stuff we get at gardengrocer and DH goes out to get our coffee and counter-service bfst. I am going to miss tonga toast everyday(yes--I do:lmao:) but we might go to CC's for bfst on our MK morning. I have read France has some nice pastries so I may get that the night before and put in fridge for the morning.

This was a very short trip (we landed at 11:30am on Friday and left on Sunday night) so we didn't "explore" as much as we normally would. We got our counter-service breakfast from Boardwalk Bakery which is about a 5 min walk. The coffee was good and they have espresso and cappuccino. I had a plain croissant which was good and DH had a tomato, egg, and cheese on a croissant. We walked over to Epcot with our coffee and they opened the gates about 20 minutes before the official opening at 9am. The only "on-site" places we ate were lunch at Beaches & Cream (awesome burgers) and dinner at Yachtsman. I spent all day Sunday at the convention center (where they fed us 2 decent meals - lunch was particularly tasty) so I didn't get around at all.
I know that doesn't answer all of your questions. Sorry!

Thanks anyway:goodvibes Sounds like you had a nice time. We were going to eat at the Yachtsman but I changed it to Bluezoo. It gets rave reviews and I can get a fabulous steak here in WI anytime but good seafood is a different story. Maybe I will drop by the Boardwalk bakery for a bite one morning...or grad something in the evening to save for morning. 3 more days...

It's been a while since I've been to the B&Y Club, and I'm trying to remember if there is any quick breakfast options (i.e. picking up bagels and coffee or maybe waffles to bring back to the room)? I don't remember if Beaches & Cream had take out or these types of options. Any ideas? Also, is there any restaurant where "Ariel's" used to be? Thanks in advance!

Seems like I read somewhere that they added QS breakfast to B&C.

What time can you get into the World Showcase? Doesn't FW usually open at 9am and the WS at 11am, do they let you into WS about 9 so that you can walk over to FW?

Thanks, Erika

Hi Erika- the breakfast a B&C was done on a trial basis in the summer of 2009 (July and August, I think) then unfortunately it was discontinued. Several of us wrote letters saying how much we liked it but it hasn't been back.

Yes, you can get into EPCOT when it opens (either 8 AM for EMH or 9 AM for regular opening). You walk through the empty streets of UK and Canada and then can head into Future World. Nothing in the World Showcase is open.

Here's a question- not one I need answered for me, but I just thought of it and I'm curious. If you have a princess breakfast at Norway, can you go the other way through the world showcase (France, Morocco, etc) or do you have to go through UK and Canada then onto Mexico, Norway, or do you have to enter through Future World?
