I just wanted to give my two cents and say that, like everybody else, we had a great time this weekend!

Thanks so much to Dawn for setting up such a lovely party for her mom. it was so nice to sit and chat in the A/C!!!

I also want to send a special thanks to Mary Jo and her daughter, Kelly for spending the better part of Saturday with me and Marty, chauffering us to and from Wally Boag's house. It was a really fantastic experience, made so much better because of the wonderful company we had!

And I'm so glad so many showed up to see the Billys with us, and I'm happy that you enjoyed the show/meet and greet. If you have any photos, please post them or email them to me, since we didn't have a working camera with us.

And one more thing. In Donna's report, when she is talking about how great and funny Marty was, she is actually talking about my boyfriend, Kirk. Not my husband, Marty. I just didn't want you all to think my hubby got on stage for us. But he probably would have with very little prodding.

Jill, we had a great time hanging with you at the TOT party. I could hardly recognize you out of costume at the Plaza! (we had to dash off about when you came).

Vicki and I drove down on Friday morning and went to Hojo's. We got our room assigment and gave them our bags to hold and then made it to Storyteller's. Everyone was there early! We loved seeing Miss Sally, who amazingly looks younger than last Feb. I want what she's drinking. The lovely Dawn managed to look fresh even though she had worked so hard decorating the tables so beautifully (someone will have pics). She also had assembled fabulous gift basket favors with an adorable Dot plush on top. A lot of love and thought went into those. She even customized different ones for the teens and kids.

It was a wonderful meet and we were especially happy to meet the new divas. Beth, I hope you had a terrific birthday with your family. You were missed here!

I had a blast with you guys too! It was great to meet you both and spend a fun evening at the party

It was great to see everybody through out the weekend and meet some new Diva's too. I hope everybody made it home safely, and everybody is feeling better that got sick or hurt! Back to reality now....boooooo!

Hey everyone, I finally have a chance to post since the trip.

Had a great time and enjoyed seeing a lot of Divas again & meeting new Divas. I didn't get to spend as much time as I wanted with a lot of the ladies, but it really got me looking forward to the February trip.

I loved seeing most of the ladies in their costumes, but I'm sorry that I missed seeing Dawn & Sally in their costumes.

I also wanted to thank Dawn for the nice goody bags at the party. They were great & the party turned out great.

Sorry to hear that a few of the ladies got sick on Saturday and I was in the same boat except I didn't eat at Minnie's. I think I got sick at Rancho del Zocolo.

It looks like Billy Hill was a blast & I'm sorry I missed that, but I was really feeling bad. I'm glad I made it to the fireworks at night because they were spectacular & thank you Melody for stalking the benches for us.

I also wanted to thank Mel for bringing Kaitlyn to the trip. This is the first time my DD didn't complain too much. She really had a good time with Kaitlyn.

Hello and Happy Tuesday everyone! I thought I would do a little mini trip report on here like Donna did!

First off I wanted to say that we had the BEST time and thank you everyone who was so nice and welcoming to Shane and the girls. They had a GREAT time and said they really enjoyed meeting everyone! I just hope the girls weren't too annoying to anyone. I know Linda has a new friend! Linda I hope Shelby didn't bug you too much!! She was just so crazy about you!

Anyway we arrived late on Thursday and took a cab to the hotel and I must admit I was a bit dissapointed with our room. I am POSITIVE when I booked it that we were told we would get two queen beds but not only did we NOT get that but we got what I am certain was a corner room that was VERY small. We had to walk through 2 different doors. We walked through the first and there were 2 doors, one for our room and then one for another. So it was like ours was a smaller "side" room or something. It was weird. And because it was built that was there was a long hallway type thing and the actual room part where the beds was was VERY small and that is why I think the beds were doubles and not queens. It is a good thing it was just the 4 of us because there would NOT have been room for a rollaway or ANYTHING else had lynn come or whatever. I was pretty dissapointed and you hear all the time about people getting surprise upgrades and not that I expected it or anything but we have NEVER stayed there and I was kind of hoping we might get lucky or something but that was pretty dissapointing. I know from past experience that that is a typical trick with hotels and newbies to stick them in the worst rooms and those that complain get moved and those that don't oh well. I was going to say something but we got in so late on Thursday I didn't want to do anything THAT night and it just seemed we were constantly go go going and I never had time to do anything much less I didn't want to pack all our junk. So I hope if we ever are fortunate enough to stay there again we have a better experience.

I DO have to say though that the pool was wonderful and we did eat at Hooks point one night and Shane and I commented that it was so nice to be in a nice "resort" type atmosphere and feel safe and with a group of people and not in a seedier type environment like you sometimes do over on harbor. But alas we do what we have to to be able to afford to take our trips!

Anyway we were very tired on Thursday and just hit the sack. We were up bright and early on Friday and we ate at the little coffee house there at the hotel and then headed to the parks. The first diva we ran into was Stacielee and her daughter Allison waiting in line. I think that was the only person we saw during the day however in the parks. We did our usual fast passes etc and hit most everything we wanted to hit and it was crowded and warm but we had a pretty good day doing most everything we wanted to do. We VERY much enjoyed Ghost Galaxy and even saw the Monkey Bride!!! I even got photo evidence which is on my FB! Anyway then we left the park and took a little nap so we could be rested and then got dressed and headed to rainforest for dinner. After dinner we stopped in at World of Disney and saw an actor with a plaid but we STILL don't know his name. He is VERY recognizable but for the life of me I can't think of his name. When I do I will post it. But anyway then we got in line at DCA and Meldoy and her daughter Kaitlyn were the first people we saw and they looked ADORABLE!!

Soon others started arriving and we took the group photo. Shane and the girls went ahead and went in so I left because I didn't want them to miss out on anything. We pretty much stuck to trick or treating and took a few pics with characters. We usually don't bother with rides but the girls wanted to ride screamin so they did that. We ran into Deb but I only saw her that once the entire trip. Otherwise we never ran into anyone else. We had a lot of fun but we didn't stay the entire time. Once we were done trick or treating we were pretty tired so we left around 10.

Saturday we were up BRIGHT and early for magic morning. We once again got muffins at the coffee house and then headed over to the monorail to ride it in. We got off and were able to do quite a bit. That is a deal as the park is completely dead at that time! Then even after it opened we did quite a bit. We then had a lunch ps at Cafe Orleans at 11:30 and we ran into Linda, Bree, Melody, Dawn, Sally and Cheryl. They had their own ressie but I talked to them for a bit. Then after lunch we rode a few more rides and then we met up with everyone for Billy Hill. We met more divas and some family members and had a blast!! After that we did more rides until it was time to meet up at the Plaza and we had a nice time visiting with everyone and I enjoyed the food. I have not eaten there in years.

Meldoy was kind enough to get some wonderful bench seating for the fireworks and we all sat together and watched the show. It was amazing and we had a great time!!

After that we all rushed over to see fantasmic and the best part is by seeing the later show we were able to get seats right up front only about 20 minutes before the show!!

We really enjoyed seeing Murphy and it was nice to see it again. Haven't watced F in a few years!

We were DEF ready for bed after that as it had been a LONG day. On the way out we saw yet ANOTHER celeb. For any friends watchers it was the guy that played Monicas boyfriend who was really rich and wanted to be the UFC fighter. I can't remember his name but he was VERY noticeable. Was there with his wife and kids.

On Sunday we slept in a bit and then decided we were done with the muffins and so were going to try storytellers but of course it was packed so instead we went to whitewater snacks. We had a nice breakfast there and then went in to DCA. We were able to do all the rides we wanted with minimal waits. We then met up with the gals at Wine Country at 11 and had a REALLY nice visit with everyone. I have pics of the lunch on FB. We were sad to say goodbye but alas it was time to do so. Then we continued on for a bit longer and left around 3 to go to the pool. We spent a few hours in the pool at our hotel and then we got the girls room service and Shane and I had a grown up dinner at Hook's Point which was really nice. They were running a halloween marathon on ABC family so then we came home and just watched Corpse Bride and Edward Scissorhands with the girls. So it was a fun day!

Then Monday I was up early to get us all packed and we decided to do a breakfast at PCH grill. It was also not originally in the plans but I have never been there and since we had our grownup dinner the night before we promised the girls we would do something for them the next day. We REALLY enjoyed this and although it is pricey I would do it again. We really enjoyd the characters and the food was good as well!

After breakfast we went to the Grand cal and relaxed by the fire until it was time to go to the parks and we went to DCA first and hit screamin, toy story and tower and then headed across the street to do GG, Haunted and Big Thunder before we had to go. We also had lunch at Pizza Port. It was finally time to leave and we headed out around 4.

All in all it was a really wonderful trip. Our room could have been better but I DID enjoy staying at DLH and we had a GREAT time visiting with the divas and just a fun trip all the way round!

First...... Thank You all for Your thoughtfulness and sharing time with us at my mom's birthday party! It was so great to see each of you, and how pretty you all looked. It was a happy time shared and my mother loved all her gifts.. most of all she loved seeing your smiles!

I'll write more later and post a few pics.

If anyone has pictures from my mom's party or the trick or treat party could you share them through pm or i'll send my email address to you... i want to make a scrapbook for my mom.

she did better on the way home.. we missed our flight in phoenix and my husband had to book us another flight as we weren't going to be 18th on standby.

I've found that true Disney Magic happens not necessarily in the park or for some special event................... it's about the people you are with!

I was so lucky to get to spend time with my friends this trip. CheryL... thank You so much for everything you do for and with me, I do not take your friendship for granted. From start to finish You were there, and i love you for that.

Melody... Thank you for helping CheryL, Wendy and I set up for my mom's party. It turned out lovely! And I was so appreciative for the help. You are my blessing.

WendyLouWho... Thanks for spending that afternoon in the hotel room with me when my mom was not feeling well. You were so sweet to spend the day..we laughed and talked about so many topics. It was so good to spend time with You.

Linda... You and Breezy are so special... it was great growing our friendship more and more. I'm grateful for happy times shared with You! And You made the prettiest alice!

Vicki and Donna... it was great to trick or treat with you two!!! Donna, i Loved your costume! And Donna..you need to wear eyelash extensions more often, they really make your eyes pretty!

Where's Waldo! Heyyyyyyy i hears lots of cute compliments on your costume as we passed by! It was great to see you again!

DebbieLouWho... next time we get together i am going to tie a ribbon around my wrist and your wrist so we will have to hang out more together because we are stuck together!

Betty... it was so nice to meet you! Thank You for sharing your birthday with us! I hope you get to come on the girls trip in feb/mar, you are just as nice as i thought you would be!

Angie... Now how sweet are you! And your babygirl...we loved watching her blow on the mickey pinwheel..it was so sweet.. i think someone took a picture of it? Was it you Debbie?

MaryJo... Didn't we have fun looking at those minature packages and feeling them trying to figure out what was in them. Heyyyyy i opened one with my mom after we missed our flight in phoenix..and it had the mickey water tower in it!!!

Stacielee... how funny is it that we run into each other in the park all the time.. so funny!

Tina... aahh wasn't it great to talk about your catering and how your mom helps and my mom say she did the same with me! I can't wait to see you next trip!

Jane.... it was great to get to have lunch with You! It was so funny we both had the same burrito fight in tomorrow land.. how hard is it to take something off.. not like we were wanting extra.


Theresa... Heyyyy i want a Do Over.. we didn't get to see enough of You! And You is Something that is missable!

Kelly...It was really good to get to talk to you and get on the same track! You have a sweet family!

And I also got to meet such a sweet girlfrom disboards right before we had to leave and go back to the hotel room for my mom to rest.. we met at Billy Hill and she had her little boy with her. Her online name is disneyfan4ever54. It was great to give her a hug!

Hi, Everyone!

I'm so disappointed dd and I did not get to see most of you...but hopefully we'll be there in March.

Thanks so much to Mary Jo and Kelly and lcasa for driving some of the gang to Wally Boag's. It was SUCH A BLAST!!! We had the best time staying there Fri and Sat. DD and I had thought we might make it back to the park to see the Billy Hill show, but we had some amazing sightseeing adventures with Laurence and a wonderful chat with his folks. You never know in situations like that whether it will be awkward or great, so we had decided to play it by ear. Since it was great, we stayed and the rewards were huge! I got to see some cool stuff--Wally's old carpetbags, costumes, and many, many items of memorabilia. We had such fun looking through the family pictures. We drove all over looking at the many things Laurence's family on both sides has contributed to the area.

My camera broke before the trip, my video cam had a dead battery thanks to accidentally getting turned on in my suitcase, and I just had a stupid disposable camera with me (and my phone). For those of you who got pics, could you please contact me about getting copies? Thanks!!

I'll write up a separate report about it when I get more than a few minutes at a time to spare! Thanks again to Mary Jo, Kelly, Tina, Kirk, Leslie, and Missy for making Wally Boag's day!!! He was absolutely in heaven having fans there to visit, take pictures, and get books.

kelmac, we got that same tiny room last November!! We arrived earlier, though, and were able to go tell the front desk it wasn't acceptable (our room only had one double bed!). They moved us to a suite in the Dreams tower

I had such a happy time on this trip, thank you to everyone for making it so magical. I wish I could have seen everyone more then I did, but like everyone says, there's always the next trip.

It sounds like you all had a wonderful time! I really wish I could've been there, but am glad I made the decision I did.

Everything went perfectly for my dad. He's doing well, and should be home by the end of the week. He starts another round of chemo next week. The doctor thinks he'll do as well this time as he did last time. He didn't even lose his hair the first time around. He's in good spirits, and Mom is hanging in there. She's like me and is the nervous nelly type. I know she'll relax more once he's home.

I'm hoping to see pictures of the weekend, especially the one of everyone in their costumes and one of Ms. Sally's party.

I can't wait to see you all in Feb!
