Hey everyone,
Sorry to bring the light mood down, but just found out that my SIL dad is on life support. He was diagnosed with cancer a few months ago. My SIL is flying from CA to Virginia and I am sure her and her family could use prayers right now.
Thanks a bunch in advance.

Sorry to hear that. I hope she has safe travels and he is added to my prayers tonight.

Great pics, Nancy! Thanks for sending me a couple of those to my email address as well. I am such an idiot for forgetting my camera.:headache:

Today at the Museum of Aviation at Robins AFB in Warner Robins, Georgia. Here is a B-1B Lancer in front.

Ok, quick story behind this. Before this vacation Sam could sort of swim but wouldn't venture far from the wall or some type of floatation device. She is a natural athlete. She told me a few years ago to take off her training wheels. I relented eventually and she just rode her bike like nothing. She is incredibly graceful. Just in the last few weeks she is diving into pools. Her older (13 year old) cousin asked her the other night when she saw her dive, "Sam how can you do that?" Sam responded, "I'm just talented." While I don't encourage bragging, there might be truth to her statement.

Anyway, today Sam said, "Dad can i try flipping off the board?" I said, "sure why not" As soon as she did it once, I grabbed my BlackBerry and took video with it the next two times. Here is that video.

Sam doing flips...the kid is amazing

Cute!!! Tell Sam great job. :cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

Great pictures Nancy. Really enjoyed.

Well I got me a FO tonite. Walt and I had a busy day today going to the bank, post office, ex-mother in laws house to pick up first set of mail and boxes we sent home. Went to track with Asiah tonite. Kristen went with Elijah to basketball. Asiah was glad I came. We are back to routine with sharing jobs to get them to activities. They both went to basketball camp today so I did not have to watch them. They are going all week. They love camps. It keeps them out of trouble. The dogs (both my daughters dogs Erika and Kristen's) were glad to see me. Jumped as high as can be. Weather is hot today. over 100 degrees. We had alittle rain. Not much. They haven't had rain in months. I guess the rain followed us. Everyone is happy maybe their grass wont be so brown.

Did anyone watch The Bachelorette??? OMG!!!!!!! :scared1::eek::mad::mad::mad:

All I can say is what goes around comes around buddy!

I can empathize with you Karen.
Sean is still like this. He just doesn't really care to do his best.
Last minute Louey too.

Tried to get him to change, but I'm thinking they are who they are.
If they want to change they will otherwise it's like leading a horse to water.....

Thanks Rose. Its nice knowing others have gone through it too!

Better yet...let's have another dis meet. Where shoud we have it...Texas, Canada, California or Virginia (That's much closer for us.) :woohoo: :)

I vote for England;)

First of all... don't panic! I have gone thrugh this one and currently going through again..lol Our geration of children are for lack a better word.. spoiled and very used to things coming easy.. we did the grounding and reward.. blah blah blah... well now that my son is 19 and entering University we made the choice (sounds harsh but please bare with me) he has to pay for his own schooling.. this way he has learned "oh um hey when the money is coming out of my own pocket I expect better of myself" we are going to be "helping out" with cost but he has to aswell.. he has even and I qoute " why didn't you push me harder in school so i was better prepared?" :scared1: I politly told him of the MANY occasions that he played the I am staying at dad's card..lol he looked down at his feet and said sorry..lol so the long and short is... they have to discover the world.. and how it is not always easy for everyone and to learn to appriciate how well they have it.. now i am not saying kids are little punks and are all bad.. just that they have no clue... perhaps a reality check is due.. sooner than later.. volunteer at a shelter for a lunch or something.. sometimes they need to see the world is not always perfect. I offten wonder if in giving my kids everything I didn't have if I caused a huge blinder over their eye's and made them very unself reliant.. I lost my parenting manual I guess.. lol

I'm guilty :guilty: - We have spoiled him in the past. Money was never an issue (before we moved!), so he had almost everything he wanted:rolleyes1.

We have reigned him in a lot lately and he is starting to realise that money doesnt grow on trees (except in Wisconsin:rotfl:)

He's so laid back , he's his own person I guess, all I can do is try and hope for the best:rolleyes1

I have zero answers for you Karen, but here's some  and pixiedust: to get you through it!

Thanks Cass:hug:
