I'm a Southern Baptist.
Indeed.
I'm a Southern Baptist.
Wow...that's racist.
See, our family friends did an inter-religious marriage. The man is Jewish, woman was Christian. She was willing to (and did) convert to Judaism in the name of love. Their son is Jewish. And they love each other very much, irregardless of religion.
no..that's not racist at all. It's following God.
GOD ISN'T EVERYTHING!no..that's not racist at all. It's following God.
to hell with god
if i love the person i am going to marry him regardless of religion
Baptists scare me. Them, and Mormans (oh geez, don't get me started on the door-to-door ones...)
Not that they're bad people, but the way they try to force religion on everyone is just...not...my thing. I don't know how to explain my thoughts.
*takes 10 steps back*
GOD ISN'T EVERYTHING!
Love is more powerful than anything on this Earth.
God doesn't need to be followed 24/7.
Mormons are wrong, they don't really follow the bible.
And I'm not Baptist, I'm SOUTHERN baptist, there is a huge difference, they dont go door-to-door.
its the JW that do and mormons. i see tem all the time here.
....... I'd better stay quiet.....
I would never marry a non-christian.
no..that's not racist at all. It's following God.
No, it's not following God, it's following the Bible. God didn't write the bible.

There it is! That is what frusterates me so much about you. I'm not telling you 'Well Wanda, in actuality there is no god.' because that's my opinion. Your superiority complex astounds me.I've had blood transfusions and I see nothing wrong with that. It's some denominations that have a problem with that. But in actuality, there is nothing wrong with that.
He did. The Word came from God. The Word is God.
Another example of how people value their religion and spit on all others.

And you said in response to someone's post that you'd never marry a non-christian, and that's not what she asked. She said if someone 'secretly' was a non-believer, what would you do?
And to Meg and Kelsey, we (people who do not believe in god) will never fully understand why god is such a big part of their lives. God and Jesus mean everything to them, the center of their world, which is perfectly fine.
Meg, it's like how much you believe in LGBT rights. Non-supporters would never understand why it means so much to you.
Get it?
It's why I try to be respectful of people's religion, even if I don't totally agree or understand it.
