Sorry to hear of your Bad experience about the Pizza Order, but I got one of the Pamphlets in Nov. and KNEW it was Bad news as it didn't have an address thats how I knew it wasn't legit....sorry.:confused3

Here (hopefully) are some pics of the newly renovated rooms. There is a lot of dark wood in the room so some are kind of dark. I tried to lighten as best as I could so you see everything.

There is a light above the bed. The headboard is wooden as well with carved detail and I believe there is also some leather type of padding on it as well.

Flat screen tv with dvd player underneath. There is an ice bucket with glasses and a coffee maker with coffee mugs as well. The refrigerator is pretty good sized as well.

I'm not sure if the bathroom was renovated or not. The handle on the shower didn't want to seem to shut off so it seemed like it had been new and maybe not just broken in yet? :confused3

The large dark wooden panels on either side of the doorway are actually sliding doors that close for privacy in the sink/bathroom area.

The room had a very updated contemporary look to it. I loved it. It wasn't overly themed yet subtle touches of Spanish culture remained in the deco. :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2
Thanks for posting the pics and glad you enjoyed CSR!!

We ate at Pepper Market twice. These are pics from our first visit there. Sorry I don't have pics from the second visit, DH and I ate in, DD20 and DS15 got it to go and I was to tired to even think about it.

Wok Sampler - Kung Bao and Bourbon Chicken with noodles and egg roll
DS15 loved the Bourbon Chicken so much he ate that again the second time we went there.

This meal would have cost us $68.14 plus 10% tip. The food was really good and the portions were enough to share. We would have shared if we weren't on the DDP. The Pepper Market was not confusing to use at all and the 10% was never added to any of our bills. Oh, I don't have a pic of the steak, but it was absolutely delicious.

MMMMMmmmm. Thanks for posting those food pics. We'll be there on Wednesday night, and cannot wait! I think we'll have to eat at the PM for dinner that night.

I had the Bourbon Chicken both times I went to Pepper Market last October! SO GOOD!!!! I will probably have it for dinner when we check in this Saturday night! :cool1:
Thanks for the pictures and I'm glad you had a great vacation.

Can someone remind me how to post pics? I have uploaded them to photobucket, but can't seem to get them copied over correctly. Thank you, thank you, thank you!:worship:

Unfortunately I did not get to eat at the PM as much as I had planned. I was able to grab a southwestern omelet one morning and it was quite yummy. The chocolate chip muffins and banana bread were excellent as well!

Hi all!

This is just a report of another instance where Coronado Springs CMs and Mousekeeping went way above and beyond......

I just finished speaking with my sister-in-law asking her how her trip to Disney went from 12/3 to 12/7. She lives in Connecticut and I live in Maine and she had told me that she and my 15-year old niece would be going down with their High School Cheerleading Squad to march in the taping of the Christmas Day Parade on Sat 12/6. I had asked her where they were staying and she had told me she was not sure which resort they were booked with as the school had made the arrangements. Well, when I talked to her this afternoon, much to my surprise (and delight) she told me they stayed at Coronado. She said they all had rooms in the Ranchos section. They had a great uneventful trip up until Friday night (the night before the parade taping) when a few of the girls came down with a stomach flu. Two of the girls had to go to the hospital via ambulance. She told me that the CORONADO STAFF WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND TO HELP THEM... mousekeeping came and cleaned their rooms and when another got sick... came and cleaned again and again! She was VERY pleased with the resort AND staff! So, kudos again to the Coronado staff!!!!!!!!

Your welcome kath1210 and wendyinaustin. The food was good. May both of your vacations be as magical as ours and a little pixiedust: that the Dream Team finds both of you as they did us. First day in the parks....first ride....there they were with Dream Fast Passes. What a way to start our week off. Wish I was there now. I could go for one of those pecan rolls at PM with milk right now.

Merry Christmas to everyone and to all going to CSR and WDW soon may you have a magical vacation.

WOW!
After reading thru this thread (ESPECIALLY THE PIX) I decided last night to ADD 2 additional nites to our 09 trip to stay at CSR. I was so impressed with all the posts and my DH and DS will LOVE the whole Mexico type theme as they both LOVED Mexico. The POOL sold me though!

Thanks for sharing all the information, there really are SO MANY of us out there that read it and RELY on it! :grouphug:

HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL!!! :wizard:

Of course, the staff at CSR is terrific! Kudos to them!! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Yeah I noticed that too but their info along with address was online when I looked it up so I figured it was okay. I think maybe they're legit, they're just nasty and bad customer service. You definately made a good call by not ordering them

Hi everyone!

We've been here for 8 wonderful nights in a newly redone room located on the top floor of Casita 1, and sadly we must head back home tomorrow. I'll be giving a full report soon with lots of pics, but I wanted to let everyone know that the temporary fence around the Casita quiet pool was removed today, the rehab is complete, and it's open for use!

BTW - CSR is a strikingly BEAUTIFUL resort! We thoroughly enjoyed everything about it, and every CM we've talked to has been extremely courdial and helpful in every way!:cloud9:

Here's a few pics now. Sorry they're a little big. I'll resize them later when I have more time.

That's it for now. We've got to get ready to go to EMH at the MK tonight. Our last big HURRAH before we have to leave tomorrow. (Oh, and crowds have been between moderate and moderately heavy. Nothing too bad, but Fastpasses are needed for the more popular attractions unless you want to stand in line for an hour or two.)
Thanks for sharing!

WOW! I am loving the new pics of the newly renovated rooms! I am getting so excited for my trip and hope I get one of these rooms---maybe I'll put in a "request" when I try out online check-in next month.

Thanks everyone for sharing...I loved CSR before and with the improvements how can I want to ever stay anywhere else!?!

I'd asked this previously and didn't get an answer, so I thought I'd share it with you.

Playing your MP3 or IPod on the alarm clock:

There is a cable on the left side of it that you plug into your player where the headset would normally go. Then push the big black button that says MP3 on it. We only used it the last day while packing.

For those with food allergies regarding Pepper Market: We really avoided it this time, but we did go once. I found that while they still don't have a milk sub in the pepper market, they do have soymilk in their quick store, so you could buy the soymilk there. They had fresh fruits, boxed cereals, and eggs, alone, seemed pretty safe. Still, I had to pay for the meal (for some reason they would not just let me have eggs as a side) so it ended up being a very expensive little breakfast. BUT at least there was something to eat!

And in the quick store they do espressos (in pepper market too). I bought rice milk, kept it in the room, and made a latte each day by ordering an espresso in a larger than needed cup, then filling it with rice milk that I heated in the coffee maker! LOL, sounds silly, but heh, I was happy.

I just posted food reviews of our low allergen eating with photos. No photos from CSR, however.

Such a nice trip!
I'll share this photo from the morning...

I am confused. I was online trying to book a CL level room for our trip next december. The web site said there was no such thing as CL rooms at CSR. Not just for our time frame but period. I thought I read after the first of the year that there would be a CL area and rooms. So I called to book on line and got the same info. I made sure I had 2009 on my dates as well as stressing this to the CM. I was told that only deluxe resorts had CL. :confused3
