Cheryl....I'm so sorry about your mom and kitty. Somehow I missed it when I stopped by last. I'm still pretty dang sick. Miserable. Riley has it, too. Not quite as bad as me, but close.

As far as Vegas goes, it would work best for me later in June, too. I'd love to caravan/carpool with people, that would help keep costs down. The only thing I really want is to have a nice pool area. On the strip, off the strip, downtown, I don't care so much, as long as it's got a decent pool area. My family likes staying at the Rio. If I had a timeshare, I'd jump at using my points that week, but right now I don't have one. It would be great to have a condo and be able to cook and hang out.

We had a GREAT time at the ToT the other night. The lines were almost non-existant. I thought Soarin' was closed even, since we were able to walk right on. Got the pumpkin muffin....way too nummy!
I haven't uploaded the pic's of the mini meet to shutterfly yet....I thought I had the sign in stuff in my PM box, but I don't...could someone forward it to me?
Trying to get myself well to deal with Halloween. Hope everyone is doing well.

I'd carpool with you. That would be a fun way to start the trip. I don't care too much where we stay either. I have stayed all over Vegas. And I would like a nice pool as well. Not one where everyone is a glamazon though. I don't want to have to TTI the entire trip. And the RIO is a no for me. DBF's ex wife is the food/beverage manager there. I don't want to run into her. Not saying it couldn't happen other places, but there would be more likely. She never liked me so I would hate for there to be a scene KWIM?

We have a timeshare and there are units for 6 people available in June for $164 for a week.

The ones available are: WorldMark Las Vegas - Tropicana, check-in 6/13, 6/20; Summer Bay Resort Las Vegas, check-in 6/12, 6/14, 6/19, 6/21.

I don't know anything about the resorts, does anyone else?

That is DIRT cheap for that timeshare!!! Wow. How many could you get?

I don't know anything about them, but that's the advantage to being local. I can go check them out! Any resort we are interested in, I can scope out and take pics, maybe ask to see a room, etc.

Roxy's has good food. The waiters can all sing! They dance around!!
We spent like 2 hours there before we went to PollyEsthers.
It was sooo much fun!!

WOW that is good for a time share.
WorldMark is good. I use to have Worldmark/trendwest as a time share...sadly after the break up he kept it. Oh well...You lose some ya win some.
When is the booking day? I know that they get booked up pretty fast sometimes.

Wow! I'd be so into that! Do you have details as to when we'd have to make reservations and make payment? Would you be able to get more than one? Now I'm all excited!
Of the two places, I like the look of Summer Bay more, but am concerned by their rather distinct wording about construction. Looks like it might be okay by the time we'd go, though, right? The Tropicana one looks alot more sedate.
