Too bad the pool wasn't open yet - I guess a good excuse to go back :)
 
My DS13 and Me too :lmao: can't wait to hear the reviews about the NEW pool slide. He's wondering what the slide would compare to from any of the other resorts on site.

Oh us too!!! My kids can not wait to try that slide they have been counting down the days!!!
 


ahhh we leave Monday for our first trip to WDW. We have a 2 year old son whom I know would love the kiddie pool.I had so wished it would be open by then .We will be there 8th-14th.Who else is staying @ CBR during this time? Anyone else attending the Halloween party this early?
 
we'll be staying at CBR from Sept 18-24 with the free dining plan. I have not requested any room specifics yet and am wondering if I should. We have 2 rooms (I hope they are together, do I need to call and ask about this?) Room one has 2 adults, and 2 girls ages 4 and 7. Room 2 has 2 adults and 1 child age 9. My youngest DD, 4, has special health needs. She is not handicapped but requires specific dietary things and she also tires easily due to congenital heart defects. Additionally, she has a history of epilepsy (had her first seizure just before our trip to WDW in Jan 07) so easy ambulance access would be preferable too, just in case.

Any suggestions????

My parents are at the CBR right now and then we arrive Saturday and meet them at the BWV. So, we'll be around but not at CBR. Look for us--we have lots of LGMHs everywhere!

You will love the CBR! It is our favorite! We are just finally trying something new this year even though I've gotten several calls tonight from my mother saying..."this resort is just fabulous!";)

acc1gjg, are you there right now? If so, then your information about pool openning maybe more accurate than what they are telling those who call. We all know that CMs may not always have the most up to date info, as they aren't at the site and can only go on the info that is given to them. So, the Saturday openning may be right on, not mid Sept., as mousemama07 says.

In any event, the pics are wonderful, thanks for sharing.

Ok, so I have a bit over 2 weeks until I see the mouse again. It's a bitter sweet moment. I am leaving DS (6 months old) with mom. 1st time I leave any of my kids behind.:sad: My mom will stay at my house with the baby.
My DDs 5 and 6 have no idea we are going to Disney. They were upset that everyone in the begining of school year had vacation stories except them. All we did was local. Now I feel like I am being torn in 1/2. I want to make this trip memorable for the girls, and yet keep thinking on DS. I need a lot of warm wishes on this trip.
