Hey Groucho is that the Disboards I see on your lap top!!!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

This can't compare to others' shots of EE, but with our little point and shoot it's not too bad ;)

My Monday POTD:

Hey Bill, this is an awesome shot. :thumbsup2 I see your ss was 8 seconds. Did you have it on a tripod or just propped on something? I am planning to try and take my tripod to the MK one night.. (dh might want to kill me if I take it too many times..haha) and I am just trying to plan out some shots.

What time of night was it and was the castle changing colors during this time?

Thanks so much for any info. :)

Thanks so much!

I did have the camera on my tripod. The time stamp on the file is 6:30 PM, and was taken near the end of October. There was hardly any light left in the sky by the time I got there, which is why I did an 8-second exposure. I wanted that red sky. The castle was changing colors, but I don't think it changed while I was taking this shot.

This is my first picture post so bear with me....BTW ignore the time on the pic it's actually sunset.

:scared1: Gack. To say noting of those bright, distracting LCD monitors being held out in front of "those people". :lmao:

I didn't realize you'd grabbed a D700 already. I guess you couldn't wait to try out 12,800 ISO! Now you have two unfair advantages (location and ISO.) :rotfl2:

The high ISO is a little better but look how wide my 20mm is now. ;)

Thanks so much! I love the red in the sky! Gotta try for a shot like that too! This will be my first trip trying to take the tripod out to the parks. I hope it does not drive me crazy carrying it around..lol
