:lmao:

I haven't gone, I remember being a little freaked out and claustrophobic as an 8 year old on the subs sooo I'm probably not going.

But I dunno that I've heard anyone say "I LOVE THE SUBS!!"

So. Sub lovers? :confused3 :rotfl2:

I loved the subs as a kid (especially the mermaid part) and I am determined to ride them when we go in September. :goodvibes

I do!!! I loved it when I rode it once as the old ride and I've ridden Nemo about 5 times since it opened. I do love it!! But, I do not love the lines. We go late at night or when it's pouring, when it was pouring rain in Jan. we walked right on and there were only about 10 people total on the sub! lol

I am on the fence about it. I love the old vintage version of the Sub from when I was a kid. And I love Finding Nemo, the movie. So I thought I would LOVE this ride more than I do. Personally, after waiting in that line for one full hour last year, I don't think it would be worth it for me to stand in it again. I would go on it if there were no line, but otherwise, no. I know it is highly technologically advanced the way they insert snippets of the Nemo movie into the underwater scenes, but I almost think I would prefer to see an Audio-Animatronic Nemo and friends, swimming around under the sea, than just scenes from the movie.

We really like it! I don't know about waiting an hour in line though (but I hardly would do that for any ride! LOL). But it worth seeing for sure, I think being under the water with that technology really makes it special.

Plus I did like it as a kids too.

I don't think it's worth the wait, but it's a good ride.

I think that's why not many people really say "I love the Nemo ride" because there's all this big build up to it waiting in a massive big line, then you go on the ride and it's pretty anti-climactic.

When the line is the length it should be, for the ride that it is, I think we'll get more people saying how much they enjoyed the ride. Really, it's a 15 minute wait ride at absolute maximum...

I haven't been on it since I was little and it was still the subs, but plan to go on it when we are there next month. Honestly, it looks a little boring (and I remember being a little claustrophobic in it as a child, too), but since we'll be there when crowds are low (hopefully), and it's THE only ride my kids have not been on at DLR, we're going to try it out while there.

I really enjoyed the ride! I don't know if I would want to wait for an hour in line, but for 10 minutes, sure!

I must say that I was REALLY excited to ride the subs last summer when I went to Disneyland because I could not really remember the original ride. I had actually never been on the Disneyland subs, but I know I rode the sub ride that they used to have in WDW. Anyway - To get to my point - I waited in a HUGE line (about 90 min.) and was not overly impressed. To be quite honest - If anyone has ever ridden the new Nemo ride at Epcot.....I thought that ride was much better. Granted you're not in a submarine and it isn't as long - It still has some of the same effects. I just thought this was more entertaining.

I really liked the original ride, (althought I don't remember it only that I liked it!) and I did like the nemo ride. But, I don't think ANY ride is worth 45 minutes It could be because I'm spoiled by going off season and with fast passes. But, I rarely wait in a line longer than 1/2 an hour. And that's because I assume it's not going to be that long! :)

If Nemo had walk up que line wait times with lines like The Haunted Mansion then it would be much more fun in my eyes. The long, long wait seems to take the feeling away that it was worth the wait.

There are a few things that are really great about the ride but not too much happens for a ride of it's unusual length. For the kids it is a wonderous adventure, no doubt!

Ok so basically you're all saying..it's worth it, but not for a huge wait. We have 5 day park hoppers so maybe I'll keep an eye on it and go when it's a short line

We rushed to it during early entry a couple of weeks ago. I'm glad we didn't have to wait more than 15 minutes, because it wasn't all that. We got off and asked the kids what they thought. They felt it was okay, but would not be worth a longer wait.

Friends of ours went the next week and waited 90 minutes to ride. They wished they hadn't.

It's a ride we probably won't do on our next trip.

Toy Story Mania, on the other hand, is a different story!

I can tell you that when we went in late September last year - probably around the 22nd or so, considered 'off-peak season' - it had been POURING rain off and on throughout the first half of the day, so that drove down the crowds considerably. We walked right onto almost every ride, with no wait at all, EXCEPT for Nemo. The crowds in that line did not care about the rain. They stood in that line no matter what. So, at 8:30 a.m., the line was already an hour long. There is just no way to speed up the line, so the only thing one can do is hope that the interest in riding it dies down after a while and then the line will shorten gradually.

I like it, but wouldn't wait more than say 30 minutes or so. Above that I'd start feeling claustrophobic and opt for the Marine Observation Outpost.

I really enjoy the ride, but in the end, it's the old subs themed to Nemo. The tech is cool and I love the projections they used on it. It just comes down to most people feeling like it wasn't worth a long wait. Frankly, few rides truly are.

Something you can do is wait until 11:55 and get in line. By that time the wait is less, not by a lot but it is less. I think we waited about 45 min. July of '07 for our first ride. Also, if you don't want to wait go to the front of the line and ask the CM where the "viewing room" is, they will point it out. It's the same ride just not in a sub, you go into a room and watch the ride there.
