Post Your Wedding Cake

Yeah I finally get to post my wedding cake. We had an escape wedding and upgraded to the Mickey Wave cake. My planner really fought and was able to get me a two tier version. We did pillars in the middle (thanks to Cinderella fan I loved the look of her cake!) with flowers in between the tiers. It came out better than I could have imagined.

Yes there was Tinkerbell. Tanis told me that the baker was excited to do our cake because we had asked them to mix in all the characters they had into our cake, so we had Tinkerbell, Minnie and Donald faces mixed in the with Mickey wave.

My Mom took mine from the GF to Orlando Airport & back to New York.
The cake survived beautifully so not to worry brides-to-be.

DH & I ate the entire top layer on our 1st Anniversary! It was still amazing!

question if anyone knows : for the escape can u do the mickeys delight except with tinkerbell and donald as the stamps? that would be way cool it is our fav 2 charictors...

I know I saw a picture of an all Donald cake. I don't see why it can't be done.

Yumm Cake! We had the destination cake and it had a bridge. I will see if I can find a picture. It wasn't quite what we were going for though. I will say that Disney did a wonderful job with the groom's cake which was a chocolate state of Texas. It was great! The cake was really tasty from what people tell me. I don't think I ever got a piece...

I am new to this site, I'm not planning a wedding but I'm looking around for ideas and sites for my daughters quinceañera. (3 yrs away, but I need lots of time to save $$$) Anyways does anybody know how much those individual cakes cost? This would be at Disneyland in Anaheim, California.

As far as i know, Disney said they wouldn't do the pillow cake. That pic was just a generic pic off the internet, I think.

Here is ours, it was from the GF bakery. It was so windy that day that minnie's little veil had blown over her head (and I was wearing a jacket LOL)

I m so glad that your cake came out the way you wanted... And I am also absolutely flattered that you used my cake as inspiration!! My cake was wonderful, and I couldn't hve dreamed it any better!!
