Anyone have a personalized sign they hang outside their camper?

I grew up camping and my parents always hung a sign outside our camper that said our names and were we were from. I know they got theirs somewhere up in the Smokey Mountains at some point. Has anyone ordered from a reliable place online? Do you have pics of your sign? Thanks everyone!

We don't have one...yet. I have a router and may pick up a stencil set so I can make one for us. If you have any RV shows (or sometimes craft shows) in your area any time soon, you can USUALLY find a booth there with a guy who makes these kind of signs.

You might try a craft store, there are usually good ideas as to what you might use.

I know you didn't ask this..but it's just my 2 cents (so you can take that for what it's worth!)
I think if you are adults looking to place a sign on your site with your name and where you're from, that's great..but if there are kids in your family I would be cautious about putting their names or even your last name on the site sign for all to see. I know it's probably me, and coming from NY,...but I have never been comfortable putting a sign outside with our name on it..whether it was when we camped nightly or seasonally. There are wierdos everywhere..even in campgrounds. Not everyone has good intentions, and when our kids were young we would stress that the same safety rules that apply at home apply when traveling, whether camping or in a resort. Why give someone with bad intentions information that could facilitate their evil.

we have a sign plaques with our names and plaques in the shape of bones with our puppy names on them. DH makes them out of wood and wood burns our names and disney character pics on them and I put a clear sealer on them. we also have a wood box he made to go under the TT hitch with Disney characters on them. he free hand draws all the pics. he's the crafty one in the family. he also makes these and other wood plaques for friends and family as gifts.

We have alot of art type festivals in our area and there is always someone making the signs. I just got one for our camper but its in the garage right now. I'll take a picture of it and try to attach it somehow. It does have a web address on the back. Most of their designs were native to Texas.

A friend of mine bought a Harley Davidson Ford a couple of years ago and they gave him one. Being the kind person he was, he told them he wanted 2. We were the only two in the group that rode Shovelheads.. Even pre-Dis I was having people supply me with signs.

Someone saw this picture in another thread and asked if I was a gravedigger by trade.

No picture yet but my parents made ours. It is in the shape of Ohio with our last name on it. They must've used a hundred layers of varnish, it's about 4 years old and still looks new. Look for it April 29 through May 7.
