Does anoyone know from which website Tammi rents her strollers? It just occurred to me that my DNephew probably will need a stroller at WDW in October and I bet they won't plan to bring one from Massachusetts.

ETA: Is is "A Baby's Best Friend?"

Elin, I would encourage them to bring their own stroller. They can pull it up to the gate at the airport so they won't have to lug the kid through the corridors. It will be his own stroller that he is used to, probably recline. Tell them to bring his stroller.

I don't know what my son was thinking, but he brought his son's little umbrella stroller!!! No!! Bring the McClaren with the cup holders and basket for storage and sun visor. Something sturdy for him to sit in for hours on end. Something to support his back. The stroller they use when they go to the mall, that collaspes with one hand, that he calls home.

Anyway, that's my opinion. FWIW, my DD loves hers. We go nowhere without it. And it travels well on Disney buses. No problem at all. Folds with one hand and has a small footprint. Invaluable at the airport.

Heidi, what great news to have your mother and sister as neighbors!!!:dance3:

Janet, I almost fell off my chair thinking about macho Gary tooling around in a truck decked out with Tinkerbell.:tinker: :tink: :lmao: :lmao:

Karen, I hope you stop scratching...:goodvibes

We have home improvements to do this weekend.:hippie: Have to winterize the outside, do some caulking, replace the basement window well cover, unload the wood for the fireplace and stack it nicely, fix the basement door, wash the deck, put the storm windows back in, feed the lawn, get the landscaping stones out of the fountain, pull the weeds under the trees, find out why the flood light for the flag isn't working (I replaced the ^&%^%& bulb!), clean out the refridgerator, get the drywall out of the basement, put a television downstairs in the scrapbooking room, finish painting the game room, change over my closets, go to Dutch Wonderland, have a cookout and nap.:flower3:

And pass Terry in post count while she isn't looking!!!!:lmao: :lmao:

Evening everyone,

Bernadette - Thank you so much for the postcard for Brandon, I can't wait to give it to him tomorrow.

Debbie

Enjoy your trip Debbie!!!!!!:dance3: :dance3: :dance3: :dance3:

:grouphug: :grouphug: for the couple.:grouphug: :grouphug: that is just too sad for words.

I have a prayer request for a local couple here. The woman is a teacher at the school my daughter teaches at. Yesterday morning her DH left to go to work with their 9 month old baby girl, who he drops off at daycare everyday. For some reason he forgot to stop at the daycare and went straight to work, the daycare called her later in the day to ask why the baby was not there, she in turn called her DH at work, that is when he found her, sadly the baby had died from the heat. I can't even imagine their pain.

Debbie

o that is so sad

What a day! I was at work at 730 and was there til 615 tonight! We got the e ntire classroom cleaned, setup, and ready--but what a LONG day!! When i got home, i had to run to return library books and ended up returning one of mine too--ugh!!
A friend called to see if i wanted to come over to watch a movie so we watched Music and Lyrics..

NOw im home and caught up! Plannng on being a bum tomororw!!

Hello all! We're home. I spent most of the day trying to catch up here. I read about 60 pages but am still about 90 pages behind. I loaded the 1400 photos I took onto my Mac and have been adding photo frames to the 369 photo pass photos so I can get my prepaid CD. About 100 photos are Elizabeths and another 38 are my friends but we had over 200. We kept seeing the same photographer at Epcot. He got some great shots-especially as Emma got to "know" him and would actually look at him.

We saw a few new characters for us-Abu, Launchpad McQuack, Jiminy Cricket, Remy and Marie. Emma wouldn't go near Sleeping Beauty or Minnie because they were too girly. She did see Safari Minnie though.:rotfl: I think her favorite was Abu.

It was really hard to get my family to keep up with my touring style. I tried to take a slower pace (stayed in bed past 8am so my family could sleep) but I just ended up getting annoyed with them so I started getting up early and tried to get them to the parks at close to opening. I'm looking forward to my November trip with just 1 child. We had a great trip and I don't think anyone thought 10 nights was too long. I could have stayed for another week.

POR was nice and the mousekeeping was great. She arranged our "friends" every day. The first night Emma complained to me that the AC was too loud and was scaring her. The next day when we returned from the parks they had replaced the AC (we had not said anything). We had a few good meals at the food court-the pasta station was very good. Gene liked the relaxed atmosphere there. The busses were fine. BUT...I think I like Pop Century better. I didn't like that I couldn't get a couple things at the food court that Emma would have eaten like a hot dog or PBJ. You could only buy an 8oz carton of milk at the food court and the larger milks were at the gift shop but it didn't open very early in the morning. The lines for waffles were CRAZY. The crowds were never as busy when I've been to Pop so maybe its just as crazy there in August but the food court at Pop seemed to handle the crowds better. The resort is huge and very spread out. It was a hike to the food court and the buildings are all zig zaggy. I like the straight lines of the buildings and much more direct pathways at Pop.

It was great to meet up with Elizabeth and Anne Marie. The kids were instant friends. Elizabeth recognized me in the parks. She rode TOT with Lizzy, Joe (his first time) and I while her DS stayed with DH & Emma. Then she, her DS, Lizzy (her first time) & I rode RnRC. Dinner was great! We had a photopass photographer take a group photo but we lost Emma for a minute or so. She had pulled out of DH's hand. She was with 2 CM's crying when I found her. She had our phone numbers on her wrist band but wouldn't talk so the CM's didn't notice. She was much better about pulling away from us for the rest of the trip and didn't whine too much when DH took her back to the resort while Lizzy, Joe & I went to Fantasmic with the others. The kids had a great time. It was Joe's first time.

Joe also tried Everest and Space Mountain and loved both. Emma tried Big Thunder Mountain and loved it.

:welcome: home Bernadette! So glad you had such a wonderful trip. Loved your pictures of the Muppets at EPCOT.:woohoo: :woohoo:

Poor Leighanna was so wiped out after a week of school!

She loves it, so I guess that is all that matters!

She has contracted a cold of some kind. That kid can't look at a germ sideways without it affecting her someway.:scared:

Better to have it now, I guess. She at least has time to get it out of her system so that we can be "cold free" for Disney!

27 more days people! 27 more days!

hi Tom,

So glad Leighanna liked school.:woohoo: My DGS was sick last night. Got out of the bathtub shivering with a fever. Still had a fever this morning, so his mother had to take off work to care for him. He also can't pass a germ.

Next month we'll be at Disney!!!!!:dance3: :dance3: :dance3: :dance3:

My DGD, 10 has joined a traveling cheerleading team. The first event, Hollywood goes to Hershey is December 1-2. She loves cheering.:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: Much better then soccer or even ballet. She loves cheering with stunts and choreography. Now I have already cancelled my HH beach vacation during her spring break, so she can compete in the Battle at the Capital, in Fairfax, VA.
