Um...and now my oven is broken. I've had nothing but problems with this oven. It's a gas oven and intermittenly, it won't turn over. You lite it....and nothing. So, I go to make dinner...and nothing. Darn. Now what to do about dinner.

Sounds like you're going out to dinner tonight!

Afternoon all...

Just popping in before we leave tomorrow morning.

Lucy had her 1 month check up today. She is 10lbs, 2 oz. and 21 3/4 inches. She has gained almost 2 lbs in a month. She checks out perfectly!

Molly went to Chuck E Cheese with Dana and her girls this morning. Emma went with my aunt and her granddaughter to a miniature horse farm near Gettysburg, PA. Fun days all around.

Marci- Happy Birthday!!!

Anne Marie- Can't remember if I wished you & Dana a Happy Birthday so [FONT="Arial
Black"]Happy Birthday[/FONT]

Eric's sister had her baby on your birthday. We have a new niece, Sarah Fay. She weighed in at 7lbs 5 oz. No length as apparently they don't measure them in England :confused3 :confused3

Tia- Congrats on the new princess! Must be the year for them. Everyone I know that is or was pregnant is having or had a princess:
We did see Hairspray and Emma loved it. Molly enjoyed it and sat through it pretty well. The funny thing was is that Emma told Molly not to sing the songs during the movie. She must have told her about 50 times. Well Molly didn't sing but Emma wouldn't shut up:rolleyes:

Karen- I hope you can get your attendant and PT straightened out. How frustrated you must be :wizard:

Tom- I know 3 little girls who would love an outfit like that! ;) I wouldn't mind a little cat hair!! I will be sending you a PM regarding the Aquarium.

Beth- Glad your home!

Tammi- :cool1: :cool1: for the outcome in your favor! Don't you just love the drugs! Glad your feeling better.

Elin- Great pics again!

 's and :wizard: all around. I know I missed a bunch of you. If anything major happens this weekend can someone PM me. I will have limited computer time and I know I won't be able to stay caught up!!

Welcome to the new babies! My cousin just had a baby in England. We were surprised that they don't measure length over there, too.

Happy belated Birthday, Anne Marie and Dana!
Happy Birthday, Marci!

Yay for Lucy checking out perfectly!

Have a terrific trip!

Beth

Too cute! I love how Chase is "touching" Kaylin's nose. :rotfl:

Congrats to the family! :)

Tammi - glad you got the outcome you wanted!

Elin - did you take the picture of the tree on the rocks on 17 Mile Drive? I love your pictures. TFS!

:woohoo:

Seriously, Tom. you have to stop. I think that I may have to have another baby so I can *hopefully* have a girl to dress her in outfits as cute as this! :goodvibes

So, our water bill was a lot higher than usual so I checked the toilets for leaks and checked the outside spigots, etc. Nothing leaking. Called the water company. Seems that the water leak is coming from the outside and not the inside. The solution? Have a plumber dig up the yard and find the leaky pipe.   He said that in the time that we were talking, the pipe leaked 2 gallons of water. :scared1: So, I have to get it fixed pronto. And, I've got to pack for NY and am leaving at 6 am on Friday morning. :headache:

Happy Hump Day!

pixiedust: for your water and oven problems! Have a great trip. Are you going to NYC or somewhere else in NY? (I'm sure that as I read back, I'll find that out.)

oh no Kim :wizard: that your day and week get better.

If you like fun murder mysteries, try the Hannah Swenson murder series. The first one is Chocolate Chip Cookie Murder. They are all really fun, and contain some really yummy recipes. Yes, I tried some of them!

I just finished a really good book called "The Rule of Four." It is a literary mystery, and it really was good. Can't remember the author though.

If you like young adult fiction, try Twilight and New Moon by Stephenie Meyer. Very romantic, and not what you'd expect!!! Loved both of them!!!

Our book club just read "Three Cups of Tea" and it was excellent, too! You'll never look at world events the same again!

Rule of Four is a great book!!

I am reading Savannah Blues right now by Mary Kay Andrews (I think) and a Diane Mott Davidson is waiting for me.

All of the places we have looked since coming home have been sold out of Harry Potter. I think I may try and get it tonight or tomorrow...if I can stay awake after work.

SO what is on the menu for everyone tonight. Jeff is closing so I think Olivia and I will have fishsticks and french fries.

Diane Mott Davidson books have recipes too. Her books have the Colorado Mountains as a backdrop with a caterer as the heroine.

I am back in a slump of not reading a whole lot. I hope it's done soon.

Leftovers for us. I'm trying to clean out the fridge before I leave tomorrow morning. I've got soup, chicken and pasta for everyone to choose from.

Clean the stove as I cant handle the smell of the chemicals.
clean the desk area.

Leftovers for us. I'm trying to clean out the fridge before I leave tomorrow morning. I've got soup, chicken and pasta for everyone to choose from.

I hate to do it but I think it will be either hamburgers or hot dogs as I don't feel like going anywhere near the kitchen.

Thats what I did last night as Jeff closed then was clean out the icebox, because I was not feeling so hot. That is another reason we are having fishsticks as I still dont feel good today, I had a little bit of nausea earlier.
